Block the mac addresses of your PS4's Wifi and Lan adapters on your router.
That way you have full network access between your home network and your PS4 but the PS4 can never connect to the internet.

Yeah that is what I do. I nearly removed it to use netflix, but I think that isn't working on 5.05 anymore anyway.

The media player is worse than movian and I never ftp into the ps4. So really the only thing making me connect the ps4 to the network at all is the exploit.

Here is a quick patch to add Hen v2.1 to X-Project.

I've only booted it twice but the shutdown problems I was getting launching the previous x-project haven't happened so far.

Working rest mode is awesome. I have now set the timeout to 20 minutes, so I won't forget and leave the console running for days.

1. Just overwrite your original X-Project files with these.
2. Go into browser settings on your PS4 and 'Delete Cookies' and 'Clear Website Data'
3. Cache X-Project again. You will now have HEN v2.1.1

Added 6.xx external HDD support. Changed the PSVR spoof from 9.00 to 6.70.

The HDD support means that you can use an external USB drive that has been formatted on a 6.xx firmware PS4. (This does not make any new games playable on 5.05!)
I dont know why the PSVR spoof has been dropped from 9.00 to 6.70. I personally never had any problems with it spoofing to 9.00.

maybe it was clobbering some other data or code or not working in some circumstance.

From 0x14A63F1 to 0x14A63F0. Good find, I totally missed that.
I heard that the old spoof messed with 5.xx games but I never had any probems with God Of War for example.

I’ve installed this on my ESP8266 and it works but every time I try to cache it, it fails and errors.

I've just dowloaded, flashed and tested the latest ESP version and it caches fine in both Userguide and in the browser.

2. If you are caching in the browser, make sure you add /index.html to the end of the url. e.g. http://x.project/index.html

Yep that’s the one I used. I’ll redownload it and reflash it on the weekend and see if I can get it to cache.

Just got a spare moment and erased and reflashed. Still can’t csche it in either web browser or user manual. Is it important to cache it as I can press L1 and load HEN+VR fine and run games including VR??

I don’t know what the issue is unless I’m using the wrong settings when I flash the board but then you wouldn’t think I’d be able to load the HEN payload either then??

did you setup up your internet/wifi connection wright ?if you want to cache it in your browser you need to enable cookies

All good now thanks guys. Yes the md5 was correct. I had cookies enabled but I went in and cleared them and then the cache install worked on both web browser and user manual so all good. Thanks for all the help.

Just one last question. I like being able to load HEN 1.8 + VR by pressing L1 but I think I read somewhere in this thread that there is a HEN 2.0 now? Is there anyway to change my 1.8 +VR to 2.0 + VR and load it by presssing L1 or is there no need for me to upgrade?

Just wait a little bit more till next version releases. Kiiwii said new hen 2.1 would be included.

Or if you want to try out hen 2.1 and new fan control payload, use leeful' s aio pack.

Thanks for this menu. Its great. I flashed an ESP device that looks like a usb stick I found on amazon. I did a diff between the 2.1.1 patch posted and pc self host files. I downloaded the gziped html from the ftp server. decompressed them, applied the patches, then recompressed with gzip and uploaded to the ftp server. I can post the files if you want. I also updated part of the info display check to reflect the change in spoof version to 6.70 with 2.1.1

I have been using the PS4 on my wifi with the recommended dns so I can remote play sometimes. This overwrites my ps4 manual cache from the esp some times. Would I need to run my own local dns servers to keep my own cache of x-project in the manual? I can cache it in my browser too but I kinda liked keeping it in the manual though and doing remote play on my network or the option to vpn home and remote play.

I am really impressed by the remote play stuff. I can remote play in on a clean boot and even run the exploit over remote with my iphone/ipad.
