All I want to do is to stop the annoying “link your Nintendo account” in games such as Crash Team Racing. I use SXOS. 8.1.0 emunand (sysnand is 5.1.0). I have tried the method of using kefir updater but this doesn’t work for me. Even with a freshly created emunand. So what I was thinking, update my sysnand without burning my fuses using ChoiDujourNX to 8.1.0. Login and link my Nintendo account. Then my question is:
How can I backup and export my linked profile?
Also, since I haven’t burnt my fuses, I can just do a straight downgrade to 5.1.0. Then set up my emunand again? Any advise would be great

What does kefir updater do?
Did you run incognito and connect to the internet before you ran kefir?

If you update to 8.1.0 do you plan to boot it with the sx payload? If you boot officially to link an account,it's going to burn efuses then you can't go back to 5.1.0

Why would linking an account burn my efuse. Efuses only burn during firmware upgrade surely?

Efuses burn when you boot with Nintendo official bootloader, when the switch boots officially it does an efuses check.

So if you plan on booting unofficially to link the account you can downgrade again.

If you do it officially then the fuses burn

I could just log in and link my NNID with my emunand thinking about it? Just make sure it is clean

Just to update anyone on what I did. I changed the way I use my switch. Sysnand was 5.1.0 - factory reset, connected to internet. Updated to 8.1.0. Created a new NNID (cause I couldn’t remember if I logged in to eshop under CFW last year). Linked my Nintendo account which is what I wanted all along. I now have a 256GB Micro SD for sysnand. I’m currently doing a raw nand backup of sysnand 8.1.0. I will then create emunand on my 512GB Micro SD. Then all is good. 256GB for sysnand and 512GB for emunand. I will have online and CFW. Hope this helps someone.

I know. That’s fine. When I turn my switch on legitimately I don’t care about the fuses. I don’t want to use the dongle / autorcm.

I only use the dongle for CFW.

Having sysNAND on the latest was my goal and CFW. - As soon as you use the Nintendo boot loader you burn the fuses anyway.
