Fast6191 yes finally someone else who seems to agree with me that tomatoes are evil.
Thats what they want you to believe, but the true secret is that the government (and the terrorist) put tracking and mind control devices in onions. onions are the evil.

But onions go in curry. Some heathens put tomatoes in curry as well but that is an addition cooked up (if you can even call it cooking) in the last few hundred years and the best ones go without it.

This..sounds like we will need to get drunk....eventually soon™.
It really isn't. Me + malicious intent + zero empathy... it has its uses but having good times is not one of them.

My diet really could do with some work as I eat a lot of pringles(2-3 cans per week) and about 3 bottles of pepsi max, diet pepsi or Irn bru extra per week other than that I tend to eat very plain food like pasta(no sauce) or potatoes and either chicken, ham or beef. I also don't really eat any fruit or veg apart from tomato soup and some strawberries.

As for exercise I go on an exercise bike for about a 40-50 minutes basically until it says I have done the equivalent of 20km about 5 days a week and I walk my dog for about 15 minutes every day that the weather isn't terrible.

Used to train at gym 4-5 times per week, had to stop to focus other priorities of life :(

now i'm trying KETO diet (actually it's new to me), and only eat rice for right healthy carbs (no white bread) and even with 40°c outside, still try to walk 10k steps everyday.

Exactly I would rather do whatever I want and have a good life than be an exercise freak who takes care of myself but has a miserable life.

Life is for living.
I used to think like that, but in my case I ended up with squamous cell carcinoma of the tongue (yes, that's cancer)... while you're going through surgery, chemo/radiotherapy, life certainly doesn't feel worth living and in retrospect I wish I'd been a little less hedonistic during my teens and twenties.
Next March will mark the 10 year "All clear" anniversary of my treatment, so I'm doing good now. Plus I'm fortunate enough to be in a location that has a National Health Service (not that the amount of time off work didn't put a big enough dent in my finances that I'm still recovering from anyway), back when it was still a really good service before the Conservative government ran it into the ground.

Moral: Live life and enjoy yourself, but take your health (physical AND mental) seriously.

I don't exercise much but I drink 5 ounces of wine in the glass and a bottle of beer everyday. Avoid fried and fast food. My health check up and blood test are all very good. I followed my parents because they always drink wine and moderate beets and doctor checking up. They are 75 years old and in excellent healthy. They never went to fast food. Never. They are an old fashion Portuguese parents, lol. Amazing. I am continue to do so. I am in 40's. NO FAST FOOD.. I eat mostly raw vegetable like raw onion and etc. Eat superfood vegetable and fruits like avocado, strawberries, etc. That's why many people are getting sicker and sicker due to blood pressure, cholesterol and etc because they are stupid and complaint at doctors. Avoid doctor is avoid the fast food and eat plenty of fruits and vegetable, smoking, and etc. Thats all.

Well first of all congratulations on kicking cancers butt.

Let me explain things from my point of view.

July last year I collapsed and was rushed to hospital. For some reason my lungs packed in and stopped working. The doctors for days had no idea what was going on with me and as the days passed I got worse to the point where my friends and family were told to expect the worst. Having seen several doctors at the hospital they finally decided to get another doctor from a different hospital to have a look to see if he could work out what was going on. This wonderful man worked out that I was suffering from type 2 respiratory failure and acute andacidosis. As it had went untreated for so long because of the failure of the other doctors to diagnosis this again my family were told there was pretty much zero chance of survival for me. Fast forward 2 weeks with zero sign of improvement then one day I just woke up and everything was back to normal. Nobody has a clue why this happened to me and they have no idea if or when it may happen again.

From that day on I decided life is short so fuck it let's have as much fun as possible as nobody knows when their time is gonna be up.

As far as I can, yes. However I don't go out of my way to buy "suprrrr h34althy plox !!!111"

Then again, the only "sport" I partake in is "walking briskly"

As far as being healthy ... Apparantly "hating not getting along with people" is far unhealthier than smoking, drinking and doing them drugs together.. sweet.

Skateboarding is no longer a thing, as germans apparantly have beef with skateboarders (pft...)

Hmm.. so you can be irrational biased too. Interesting.

The only thing I *really* dislike is Pineapple... the taste irks me... (unless it's combined with pancakes... for some reason ?)

That's what they want you to think (and curry definitely doesn't need onions.)
Japanese curry is delicious but not really what I would call curry. Ditto Thai efforts.

If however you know the way to make the thing known as curry across the Indian subcontinent without first sticking some onions and garlic in a pan then please to elaborate, not necessarily for taste reasons but as an intellectual effort more than anything. Fortunately tomatoes are not used much in any of the Bengali varieties which is nice as it is that area which handles most of the curry houses around here, go somewhere where Pakistan provides most of the inspiration... not good.

Is it really irrational to want to exclude a substance that tastes horrible in larger quantities and turns my arse in a water cannon if it is present even in far lower ones; several times now various companies have decided to add tomato powder to things that don't need it -- Lidl, normally a good place to get food, chucked it in Ardennes pate the other week and the following day I track it down to that, and I seriously seriously miss Branston pickle but their main two ones, even *spits* smooth, have it and as nice as sandwich pickle is it is not the same. The description of the day after we used a different chicken seasoning and did not think to check can not be repeated even on a topic like this.

Off topic so song

Yeah, my health experiences had a similar effect on my general outlook. However, mine changed more in terms of not taking anything too seriously anymore, and understanding that we're really not in control as much as most of us think we are... although the "fuck it - imma do anything I want" attitude is kind of what got me into my situation - so although I've cleaned up a lot now, I'm still not a totally clean living goody-two-shoes, but I'm certainly more measured with anything that could cause potential harm. I quit smoking and started vaping, I dramatically cut down on drinking to the point I'm now virtually tee-total, and my recreational drug use is an extremely rare treat. But the biggest change to my health came from taking steps to eliminate stress (which was a major contributing factor to my illness), and my outlook of taking everything less seriously has helped tremendously with that.

Trying to get through the heatwave the whole week, sitting with a headache and lack of sleep. My mind is not that quiet either due to a stupid guy who scammed me last week. I can't get it out of my head.. But beside that it's not all too bad.
