Homebrew RELEASE Ren'Py port to Nintendo Switch

Well) I tried to launch it and it's playable through story, but have very many errors which do not allow to enter the settings.

I don't know) On 1.0 on start i get error which can be ignored and you can start story.

Download "renpy-switch-extra-libraries-v1.1.7z" and merge the folders.

If you have newest atmosphere, you should get crash report in atmosphere folder and error number. Maybe something there will give a hint.

Userland ARM data abort. Also caused by abnormal process termination via svcExitProcess. Note: directly jumping to nnMain()-retaddr from non-main-thread has the same result.

I probably can't debug that without lldb/gdb/other debugger. It may be a while before that is fixed.

Sure. If the game doesn't work with Ren'Py 7.3.0 prerelease, it won't work here.

I made some fixes for Katawa Shoujo, so it's now working on 7.3.0 but crashes through some time time on Switch version of engine. If user will saved more often, then such crashes are bypassed, but they will still occasionally arise because the engine is not yet fixed. If moderator and authors of this topic does not mind, because i don't know can i share files from novels here, then I can upload only fixed scripts.

I will also add that many novels that work on PC on 7.3.0 do not work on the engine on Switch.

If author does not oppose, and this is not against the rules, then I will do so.
At this moment i'm checking all the routes. Routes for Lily, Shizune, Amy may be read fully despite the crashes.

I made 2 archives with full game for fast begining and with only files that i changed, but can'not post link to game archive here at least because it contains pornographyc scenes. I may share it only PM you link to ful archive with game.
For proper working full python library needed.

Hello, I was wondering if in order to test out my own Ren'py game on the Switch, do I need to have the Switch hacked or homebrewed in order to do this? Or do I need a dev-kit Switch? I am all new to this, but any help would be much appreciated.
