Hello everyone. I need help here. I have a Wii that softmodded and it's 4.1U version. When I tried to connect to my home network for the first time, it does work. After I using it, i delete the connection slot until it's empty like before. But when I tried to connect again, It gives me error code 52230 and it keeps doing that when I try connect again, and again and so on.. Can anyone explain me how to fix this? Here's my syscheck:

Ok, so I checked the link you give me. And tried all of them and here's the result:
1. Manually set up the IP address and DNS server :It still give me the same error code.. :(

2. Power cycle the router: Nothing, and still the same error.

3. Check for wireless interference: Yeah actually I place my Wii near a smart TV that's connected to my home network. Also the distance between my home network and my Wii is not really far.

Bonus: Turning off the SPI Firewall and it doesn't work either.

Alright. I already edit my post and copy my syscheck info in the post. I hope the syscheck does telling me something about this..

When I tried to connect to my home network for the first time, it does work. After I using it, I delete the connection slot until it's empty like before. But when I tried to connect again, It gives me error code 52230 and it keeps doing that when I try connect again, and again and so on.
I'm not sure if it's just your poor grammar playing tricks on me, but it looks like you said you deleted the connection settings after setting them up. That would be why it's not working.

Have you considered updating to 4.3U? It's fully homebrew-able and is the most up-to-date version out that still has homebrew access.

No, because my Wii was softmodded at 4.1 version. So if I update it to 4.3, i'm afraid that the update will uninstall homebrew.

Also, my syscheck you see now is outdated. Because i managed to change my Wii region to 4.1E

I already make my NAND backup. But I haven't tried to update it yet. I'll try it later.

Uhh, I have a question. How am I supposed to update my Wii system menu Without an Internet Connection?

Umm how am I supposed to update my system menu without an Internet Connection?

You can't update your Wii without an Internet connection. I mean you can, but it would need to come off of a disc and who knows which discs have which updates without checking the contents of the disc.

Ok. So I was about to update my Wii system menu. But then, after some thinking. I'm not going to update it because the update will also delete the bootmii iOS.

https://wiibrew.org/wiki/System_Menu_4.3

So, is there a way to fix Wii error code 52230 other than update my system menu?

Well, it's been a while. And I'm still having this God d*** error code. This time around, my Wii Is now connected to my new WiFi and it is super fast. I wanted to play Mario kart Wii online(wimmfi) and i know that i have to wait for 7 days a activation. But when I tried test my connection after those 7days you guessed it, that error pops up again. Can anybody help me here?

I got the same problem here. It seems as if the connectiontest is targeting a server that has gone to nirvana? Which is resulting in a not passable connectiontest, so no new connectionsetup anymore?

im just guessing, but to me it looks like the server that is to answer to the testsignal has been shut down.

so, i tried again and found out i was completely wrong. the reason was my misconfigured router (childlock was activated for my wii). now eveything works as it should. sorry for misinformation and wildly guessing around.
