Hacking My Switch bricked so easily?

This is pure gold.

He just keeps whining after he fell for SX OS, paid them, waited for the dongle, probably forgot to make a backup and in the end failed to boot.

When he says "mod team" (how ever he spells it) he only ever means TX. So the ppl that got his money for xci.
After that he probably learned that he could have all he wanted for free with atmos and raged the second time.

In his other tread (that got locked yesterday bc of his spam/trash talk) he started ranting about how everyone should just buy cracked games, like that makes any sense at all...
He did not understand that there are no cracked games and that in order to play backups you need CFW.
In his eyes CFW in its current existence is not a hack, too complicated and inferior to cracked games, because you can not just run games.

He is litteraly unable to copy 2 zips to his sd card, put it back into the switch, connect it to his pc and push fusee_primary.
Stop trying to help him, he neither wants help nor could he learn from anything you post.

Just followed the guidelines, really not too complicate for me and I just got an invalid licence on a corrupted file ...SD???strange it's an extreme sandisk....but anyway can be possible.....
After this frustration losing hours making nand and emunand backup without save them.......I formatted the SD like the OS team told me....I forgot to save the back up....
Anyway.....I tried after this invalid licence/experience to istall Atmo without realize that without a previous back up I can't return to the original firmware.
So I'm with Atmo, I will mount all this shit inside the SD, but basically it's now a compromized Switch that can't make more original firmware update....

So the frustration is based on the long time making the back up, deleting it, to get an invalid licence.
Is not true that to get a cracket game you need to mmod the switch. You need to buy a cracked account, that's another stuff...always illegal uh....but at the end u can play online.....without burn the console from the online services

It did boot now, don't know how I did it. I thought everyone always advised to activate AutoRCM before anything else right, am I wrong? However for some reason now, cfw nor ofw will boot

When you use emuNAND there is not much point to AutoRCM. Your fuses will never be burned from updating your emuNAND. It saves you a couple of seconds on inserting the jig and holding power and vol+ that's all. But AutoRCM comes with drawbacks such as not being able to boot stock OFW (there will always be some patches applied like disabling fuse checks) and when you power off the console can silently boot into RCM instead and drain your battery.

I'm allergic to guides.
I just need a list of products to insert to download from a trusted source ....
and a simple and fast process (this is impossible if you have to do the back up) to operate
This is what I have been saying for days on this forum....since there are different components that make of an installation a good installation we need an auto-installer .....
The back up before the mod and the hang-ups with the SD card are stupid.
They should be bypassed.

The SD card issues are not something that can be bypassed, for lack of desire to explain the nitty gritty of why/how/when SD cards corrupt, call it bad luck instead. If you're lucky, your SD card will work 1st time like some on this forum. For others, there are plenty of warnings detailing what should be done in case of corruption. If you hadn't jumped the gun thinking that you knew it all despite complaining of the difficulty of the guides, you wouldn't have ended up in that situation.

It's kind of messy, I did uninstall AutoRCM, but now my switch won't boot into sx os even with the jig, etc put inside as the first time and pressing +. plus i get a message saying the system can't read the micro sd card

1) If your Switch firmware version is 7 or above, use SX OS 2.7.1 Beta from their oficial website (I don't know why they don't tell it in their website, but the version 2.5.3 doesnt support these fw versions - reason why you may see the black screen when attempting to boot)

2) Put your SD card in your computer, and check if it is working. If it isn't, you may need to reformat it cause something may got corrupt. I recommend to format using "FAT32 Format" (GUI version from Ridgecrop) program. I recommend formating it to FAT32 although you will be limited to the maximum 4gb per file, so you may need to trim your XCIs or install them via external HDD or a flashdrive (FAT32 is less prone to get corrupted and the recommended format to use hombrews).

I did format it as exfat before I did any of the process. however it was my bad, i didn't put the jig correctly. Everything seems to be working now without problem. however, in order to boot my switch from now on, will I have to use the jig and the dongle each time? or is there another way around this?

Nevermind, I skipped this post. It seems you were able to solve it. You can either use the jig or enable AutoRCM.

Like OS team Xec suggest ......Formatting the SD directly from the switch will solve all these problems..... I tried to format it from a chromebook, from win10....without solve. I solved formatting directly from the Switch system.

I don't want to be rude, but I have seen your post history and it seems you were unable to install CFW and have also been derailing this thread a lot. The OP needed some help, and there were others willing to help him. Formatting the SD won't solve all his problems, I just suggested him to check it cause he mentioned the system prompted him it was unable to read the card.

That being said, I understand you may be frustrated after your failed attemp to hack your system, but you either try again with a clearer mind and a better attitude asking for new help, or you should just step away. Most people in this sub-forum (Exploits, Custom Firmwars & Soft Mods) are aware of the risks of hacking their system and look for information before doing so, and are also willing to help others to mitigate this issue. Raging about it all the time won't get you knowhere, and I'm pretty sure you won't change people's mind with it.

Don't worry, no frustration.... for what??? Be not able to do what? Obv is the SD is not working I claim for a bad procedure, but seen that on this forum is full of kids, I got my info directly from the team. SO this forum if exist or not is the same.....OK? Understood?
