I just got another switch from ebay again.
it have 8 burnt fuses and It would not ever boot up OFW or CFW at all.
only thing I can boot is ubuntu image on my sd card.
I decided to make it dedicated ubuntu switch.
I moved ubuntu sd card from my another switch.
then I re-programmed the trinket mod chip in the switch to autoboot ubuntu.
the whole story is that the seller downgraded from 7.0.1 to 5.1 and had it working for awhile.

There is a way to rebuild your NAND without working Horizon OS. Just try it, you have nothing to lose anyway - except some time
they also store hardware information (is it a devkit? is the nvidia backdoor enabled? is it a quest system? Hardware revision? Is fuse written enabled? etc) and ipatches

I personally have 9 burnt on my 8.0.1 launch day system, and 5 burnt on my second system on 4.0.1

the seller never did nand backup. I dunno if I could make a nand backup.

Well honestly none burned, but this is not the full truth , i got the switch second hand it was preaty much new 3 months from the box and the guy said its came with firmware below 3.0. Anyway he updated it steight from nintendo to 6.2.0 and nit shoet agi sold it to my and i cfw it and tyan updared to 7.x with Autorcm so basicaly up to 6.x all burned
9 of the 64 possible fused burnt.
I couldn't resist the urge to update my switch. Due to some dumb decision making in the past I can't get back to 2.1.0 to install coldboot when it will release eventually.

You don't need a NAND backup, it's like flashing a fresh OS on your PC, no backup is required.
2.1.0 wasn’t gonna get coldboot anyway
Well for those of us on 1.0.0 (i have 2), there is no current coldboot either so really none of us are any better than anyone else.
1.0.0 has a much higher chance of getting it (still not a very high chance though)

Or, I also heard that if you use flash memory, it can act as more "RAM" at least windows tell me when I stick a flash drive into it. -
