So, I've had my hacked Switch for a while. Lately, I've been using Kosmos as it seems to be the easiest to set up and use. The problem is that, at this point, I want to be rid of OFW update nags from Nintendo, but I'm having trouble even booting up my Switch normally without CFW.

Here's the weird part: it boots perfectly fine after every power down right now as long as I hold the power button on my Switch for 30 seconds and then do the usual jig in the right Joy-Con slot, hold volume up and power to get into RCM, upload the payload, bada bing bada boom, you can see what you're doing now, the usual process. It boots into Kosmos immediately upon uploading the payload when in RCM mode, but ReiNX hangs at the splash screen the last time I gave it a shot, and atmosphere gave me a black screen last time. Everything is up-to-date from using the Kosmos online SD card maker, so I'm not sure how to get into the Maintenance Mode right now to where you can delete downloaded updates when the Switch isn't powering down correctly and isn't responding in any normal way when I go to power it up normally.

I don't know what update is on my Switch right now currently. It could be 7.x, or it could be 8.x and break my ability to use CFW until later updates.

Thanks in advance!

If you don't have autorcm, there is no need for holding the power button. To get into maintenance mode, just hold volume up + down while booting from the bootloader (so simply, while booting to OFW or to CFW from RCM).

SylverReZ @ SylverReZ: Also nice. Never really watched Fallout on Prime, but sounds like a good show.
