That won’t happen. EverUntil folks in homebrew community figure out how to dual-boot firmware (without dongles/gadgets)
That won’t happen. Ever
warmboot hax? yea that could happen. But I think they were talking about untethered coldboot, which won’t happenAtmosphere already lets you reboot to payload, why can't the same show up on linux at some point?
Not sure what you are saying, it can. Reboot to payload will be added eventually.Atmosphere already lets you reboot to payload, why can't the same show up on linux at some point?
Yes, for patrons of the RetroNX discordIs a standalone lakka using l4t available right now?
It's more than possible, really - if there's anything that was proven by homebrew scene time and time again, it's that some of the most powerful exploits can be found in least obvious places. I mean, 3DS for a long time was considered unhackable until it suddenly was, and same is for Vita.warmboot hax? yea that could happen. Pretty much everything relating to it has been thoroughly reverse engineered and checked. Anything that could possibly lead to it is either impossible to take advantage of due to missing pieces (nvidia backdoor requires an unburnable fuse to be burnt, 3.0.x needs a sysmodule savegame exploit, etc) or is incredibly impractical to use. It's more than possible, really - if there's anything that was proven by homebrew scene time and time again, it's that some of the most powerful exploits can be found in least obvious places. Wasn't very similar thing said about 3DS and Vita though, up to the notion that "It will take >4 years at best to hack newer firmware"? Again, there's at least half a dozen instances in jailbreaking history when people thought that "everything has been thoroughly reverse engineered and checked" only to find an unexpected workaround.Pretty much everything relating to it has been thoroughly reverse engineered and checked. You’ll be disappointed when it never happens above <=1.0.0 kekWasn't very similar thing said about 3DS and Vita though, up to the notion that "It will take >4 years at best to hack newer firmware"? Self-indulgent humble brag? Wow.
And you are waiting for a setup from someone. Wow.
Pikmin is playable.
Killer 7 is playable.
Animal Crossing is playable.
Resi Code Veronica apparently is playable (for me it crahes on the language selection screen, so maybe dont use the US version)
Paper Mario slowdown / unplayable
Spider-Man 2 slowdown / unplayable
Celda slowdown / unplayable
Thats already with Vulcan.
Also, switching between Lakka and Horizon (without a modchip) is tedious, so you better pick one game you want to play for a bit longer. Rather than just jump around.
Chu Chu Rocket is playable
Shenmue 1 is playable
Shenmue 2 is playable (a little more slowdown than 1 on minimal overclock)
Skys of Arcadia (EU version 60 Hz patched) is playable
Resi Code Veronica is playable (DC version EU 60 Hz patched)
Jet Set Radio (EU Version) playable (small slowdowns at minimal overclock)
Omikron is playable (only one of the above mentioned so far that doesnt support 16:9 hack)
PSO is playable (apparently, didnt test)
Rez slowdown / unplayable (maybe its settings, is someone gets it to full speed, report.)
