Kodi 18 might work but you have to compile it for arm64. I just finished the build process and Kodi 18.2 starts. Have to test the netflix plugin now.

I think streaming services like Netflix need widevine to work
ok than, i will try to compile kodi 18.2 for arm

I was able to compile kodi and installed the netflix addon. For some reason the inputstream addon wasn't included in the build. Have you been able to compile it? CMAKE throws an error for me.

i couldn't compile it, i am not sure what error it gave to me, i closed it and gone to take a shower

is it bad to OC ubuntu right now?
i haven't been keeping up with everything but i saw you can boost it to 2.0 or something like that

I imagine it depends what your using it for, my switch heats up much faster Playing Breath of the Wild, than anything I've overclocked as far as gamecube emulation goes.

@pescu - I also had trouble getting sound to work through HDMI. To get it working all i had to do was:

speaker-test --channels 2 --rate 48000 --device hw:0,3

this plays a loud noise through each speaker, beware! Wait several seconds than control-c
sound should now work!

I noticed 2 things trying this out and wonder if these things are known:

  • The touch input seems pretty inacurate for me, maybe because I have a screen protector on.
So I connected my logitech smart keyboard via bluetooth which worked.
  • But now I noticed that I cannot select certain things...
Like opening system settings works, but in there I cannot select anything with mouse cursor.
If I hit tab it highlights the options and I can get into them but now I cannot move, minimize, enlarge or close the system settings window anymore :(
Same in appstore: I can search for apps but I cannot select them..

Are these known bugs or does it just happen to me? Or do I have to change some bt settings for my keyboard to fix it?

Has anyone attempted to run PCSX 2 through this? I know their is current footage of Xbox emulation running pretty slowly through XQEMU, was curious how PS2 emulation held up ;P.

Unfortunately, PCSX2 is built around x86, and won't work on ARM64
