I get a nintendo switch on ebay and came in "store display". When I bought it I didn't know wthat does it means, later, when I got the switch, I realise that it comes in demo mode (I guess).

There's a way to disable it and be able to enter the home menu?

You have received a Quest Unit (kiosk), please do not attempt to enter RCM or reset the unit. You will not be able to play online with it, due to special server settings registered to its serial, and it is limited to 4.1.0. OTA updates will not work.

Getting out of RIDM (Retail Interactive Display Menu) is not hard, (and using Qlaunch instead) but you should not attempt this yet.

Will discuss the implications of this in DMs with you, as the process requires special care.

ITS THE NORMAL DEMO FROM THE ESHOP AND NOT A INTERNAL DEMO FROM N

It is actually not. Kiosk Demos are on LP1, but you can not get the titlekeys for them. However this is not something that has any business being public right now.

What are you going to do with those??
for example edit my TX EmuNAND in this way i get this to work and experimenting what happens with a unsigned NSP or CFW launched and btw It could be a DevelopmentKit Console means it can be downgraded to everything and the DevMenu (and SDK i guess) is installed on it... so basicly you can do EVERYTHING with it as long as you know how and we dont have something like this console on GBATemp so it would be very good to know maybe a lots of "Information" could be inside of it if its really a DevKit Console nobody knows since we cant know the Firm Version but cuz its smash installed i guess 7.0 and then we could check the Fuse Value and if its 1 then its a Dev Console but nobody knows if its a DevKit Console language

nope TicketDBs are gone forever but it could be still a Dev Kit

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

can we now check the Fuse Value and the Firmware Version
you obviously know nothing about non-retail consoles kek

firmwares on quest systems have identical fuse count to retail iirc
(hell, I wouldn’t be surprised if the firmware on them was basically identical to retail)
