Gaming Smash update 3.0 is out

and the ability to play as Joker. Does anyone know if it requires 8.0?

I think it does. But I'm having an issue. When I try to update Smash to 3.0.0 it errors out and won't download the update data. I checked the error code (2137-8056) and it says to make sure your system is up to date. I checked and it is on 8.0.0 (which is weird because I definitely did not update it...must have happened automatically). If that doesn't work it just says to try again later or power cycle your router. Internet works fine that's not the issue. So I don't know why it won't update.

Sure you're not banned? Updates happen automatically if you dont turn off the setting. Maybe it updated you and banned you IDK.

I haven't hacked my Switch. Just used Lakka in the past that's all. Also, Tetris 99 works fine.

I wonder if someone on CFW could install it through tinfoil and ignore fw version if it requires 8.0?

Turns out my brother is getting the same error and he hasn't hacked his Switch at all. Probably overcrowded servers.

Ya, started a bit of the download then 7% in the eta skyrocketed and the download stopped completely and spits an error now. And on my friends switch who I have my account active on apparently it doesn't even acknowledge the fact that I own the fighters pass so Joker isn't even playable with the update.
