Stage 8.2 of Super Mario Bros. I can finish every other stage pretty much with my eyes shut. But for some reason I always end up losing at least one life on 8.2.

part of the reason Lakitu should have been called Cloud Arse is that level, as well, that jump about 65% through is just insanely cheap

Another painful world is SMB3's W3 entirely: it just takes a ridiculous difficulty curve from w2...
