I want Permanent Custom Firmware. Thats all.

That's something we can only realistically see once the Switch is dead and stops getting updates, unless is a custom do everything but play Switch games firmware.

I mean that would be cool but everyone nowadays has a Smartphone... so what would be the point? Drawing?

You can actually already do that by modifying the title ID in the loader.ini for Atmosphere or hbl-config.ini for ReiNX to that of another applet like News

This isn't even a real requirement anymore in Atmos. Which now Requires the use of "R" being pressed to launch it. So Albums is untouched (I mean it was before but you get what I mean)

OpenMW port to the Switch. Daggerfall Unity too.
Maybe a real good DOS emulator.

I haven't tried it, but does RetroArch's DOSBox core work well? As for OpenMW, that would BE DOPE.

An untethered coldboot exploit has absolutely nothing to do with signing a file with Nintendo's private key. If an end user thinks they are the same thing, they are stupid.

I meant the end end result. Turn off switch fully, turn it on and be in cfw. I realize the processes to get there are completely different.

lol, a thread like this, shouldn't even have people replying to each other.

its just a wish thread. the only replies that should ever be here is: "its already done, check this out" or "yeah thats a cool feature, id like that too" any reply other than that is useless, lol.

even my reply right now is useless unless i state a wish.

i wish that i will be able to use the switch as the perfect (on the go, and couch) emulation machine + switch games :D.

I want to be able to do 4 player n64 games with ease. i want to then be able to switch to a 2 player snes game with ease. then switch to 4 player simpsons or ninja turtles arcade games with ease. then switch to smash ultimate when tired of playing old school games.

So basically, advances in emulation stability and performance. Luckily, i can pretty much already do the above, but everything isnt completely smooth and flawless yet. feels like there is a high chance for crashing right now (however, i havent tried since back in december).
