SX OS 2.6 Beta released: full support for Nintendo Switch firmware 7.x

From Team Xecuter:

This new 2.6 BETA of SX OS adds full support for Nintendo Switch firmware 7.x, including ALL functionality you expect when using our product. We've been pioneering our own unique and proprietary solution for defeating any future firmware protection and we're quite happy with the results so far.

This release is marked as BETA because we changed things drastically under the hood to streamline future firmware updates and some things may inadvertently behave differently.

That does not mean it hasn't been vetted at all, so give it a shot today!

Of course, we haven't been sitting idly behind the scenes either. A lot of our development resources and attention has been dedicated to bringing SX OS to those "unhackable" switches. We are working hard to bring the SX OS experience to all of you who are stuck with an "unhackable" switch. Stay tuned for more news!

There's no reason to not call out blatant lies embedded in the thread announcement, regardless of who they are coming from or what firmware you prefer.

I mean, there wouldn't have even been a delay if they would've just been transparent about using Atmosphere up until now.
But who cares?

We know what TX are. Good or bad is subjective. People either use it or don`t.

It just gets grating to see the same saddos with the same stupid Hentai profile pics who contribute bugger-all to the scene.

We know. We get it.

One of these days, there may even be a TX thread for actual support and intelligent conversation, instead of a bunch of unwashed leftists having their daily moan because they can`t get a sh*g.

Both sides have their pluses and minuses in the CFW stakes. Its what makes a scene. Not this catty petty crap.

I would rather have just emunand than all of the "functions" you mentioned combined

Tx gave us months ago many other useful functions not present till now in any other CFW

So yeah, they were late with this update, but who cares? Other CFW just dont have what tx offers
Well the functions are actually useful. Reboot to Payload is a nice feature where you don't have to inject the payload every time you restart. AutoRCM automatically working on shutdown is a nice convience. JIT Patches improve N64 emulation and KIP Loading opens up a wide variety of ways to experiment with your switch.

USB is being worked on by XorTroll, XCI is going to get documented by Hexkyz soontm and EmuNAND is coming to Atmosphere as a 1.0 release.

Why do I care? Check the thread. This release is littered with bugs.

Heck yea! looks like they included the SVC patches. DK64 works just as well on SXOS 2.6 as it does in Atmosphere.

Mine the same,on 6.02 and beta 2.5.3 it worked fine, now i updated to 7.01 and updated the sxos to 2.6.
It even doesn't find my installed nsp games, what a mess.
Everything works fine for me, XCI and NSP.

He actually did say that in another thread.

That's not an answer. SX actually has reboot to payload? Why would they use ams folder then?

because they dont have modified exosphere to modify the path and yea it works

i use argon-nx as a reboot payload and it works fine
