Do we need to boot sysnand from sx os menu always? Or how does this works ?

Can I ask what method that you used to update sysnand to the latest version?
If you hold volume + you can choose sysnand or emunand or if you dont hold volume + it will auto boot to emunand if you have one

Hi all.
I've been a silent observer on these forums for quite a while, but finally I have a question (psst...it's in the n00b area. Please, be gentle :) )

What programs do I need in order to
1: Backup my nand
2: Enable my Switch to use micro sd cards.

One of my Switches is on 4.X, which I initially used SX OS on it, and my other is on 3.X which is still in it's original box.

Thanks

I would use hekate to backup your nand
and you don't need any programs to make microsd work
Fat32 works out of the box and exfat requires a fw update

https://gbatemp.net/threads/backup-...-your-biskeys-tseckeys-keys-txt-guide.513386/

That guide for nand backup

and ChoidujourNX for exfat support/updating... Fat32 is recommended though

Thanks Adran and TB! That's a good starting point. I guess my only question now is Adran, why is Fat32 recommended over ex-fat? With larger files, don't you have to split file sizes on fat 32?

Exfat is prone to Corruption. To bypass the file size limit on fat32, USB install is recommended

How long under ReiNX gets emuNAND support?

5 hours /s

It gets here when it gets here, I can't say when, other than when the devs implement it

Hi all , a very nood question here.

My switch was on version 7.0, I tried to check if my switch were patched or not. So I followed instruction to put my Switch into RCM mode. I was successful to put my Switch into RCM mode with TegraRCMGUI. Now I dont know how can I go back to normal mode. My switch now is totally black when I unplug from USB, when I plug USB, the TegraRCMGUI states that RCM is OK.

send the hekate payload and choose power off or hold power button for 15 seconds.

Just because it can enter RCM doesn't mean it's not patched, i suggest entering your serial here

Thanks, works like a charm. And I just checked the serial, all good. What will you suggest for me now, to downgrade or to wait for tools supporting version 7.0

Backup your nand, boot and biskeys. I recommend following this guide. You might need the new biskeydumpV8 payload from Raj's Site

After you have those files backed up, I suggest waiting
