I just platinumd this game and it felt super underwhelming. The ending was littered with plot holes and its just disappointing. The mechanics of the game were fun for the first maybe 10 hrs then it became super repetitive. However the graphics were stunning and the music was ok (a bit too crazy for no reason ex. Cloudcoil canyon theme). Anyone else feel the same?

Why did you play it, then?

Dropping games is okay and not every game that is out there was made for you. Each has its own audience and the small things that might make you want to play it (like unique parts of Ni No Kuni 2) will one day be implemented in a game that is made for your audience.

It's not the games that are bad, it's your perception of them that is bad. Not everything in the world is for you and that will never change. The bad games are game like Lichdom Battlemage or that game where you run around as a goat without any purpose. Those are the bad games.

I played it because it was made by one of my favorite devs (level 5). The game had hype on it and I wanted to check it out. I love rpg games especially jrpgs but this was crap. Sorry i dont want to offend you but this game was over hyped.
Not only why did you carry on, why also platinum it?

I wanted to give the game a full chance honestly. If I ended up liking it, I would get the sequel if there ends up being one.
It had no challenge, really.
Yeah it really felt like just mashing triangle and L1 till the end credits roll. The kingdom building aspect was okay.
