Gaming Minecraft Updates with CIA

Hi, I'm wondering since I installed Minecraft via CIA using CFW. Is it possible to update it straight from the e-shop? Or should I go and find an appropriate CIA for every single update?

Games available on cartridge can be updated from eShop as the updates are a separate download, but eShop exclusives normally have the update as part of the game so they can't be downloaded from eShop if you don't own the game.

Yes u can update any installed game even if u don't "own" it via the eshop

Wrong, doesn't work anymore for eShop exclusives since FreeShop, CIAngel etc. were patched.

Looks like Minecraft got a retail release so it may actually work for that game.
