Well that's what I'm trying to prove. And so far it seems the safest way to not get banned is and will always be XCI.

Yeah detectability isn't a problem as long we play them offline or with stealth mode active and the war between xci vs nsp's are over considering we can do more with xci's by packaging DLC/updates with them. Its like creating our own Deluxe edition

XCI's wont ever get you banned unless you try to play online with them via cert check.

We can't update any game through OFW without 7.0 thats what NSP update files are for.

It's better doing it on your PC with NSC Builder!

Or you simply install the .nsp of the update to your console.

Quick update here... Only XCI not banned since September last year

If you did want to play a game online did you just boot into OFW? Or is there other steps to take like removing hombrew from the SD card etc?
Also noob question but why is installing NSPs more dangerous? Is it still un safe if you uninstall an nsp before booting into OFW? Does installing an NSP onto the SD card affect the nand somehow?

Yeah, just OFW and play online.

Edit: Online games I hope you're referring to real cartridges. Don't install nsp. Because of the tickets and that will get you banned.
What I do is to play XCI and if I want uodates I just update on my PC with NSC Builder and don't worry about updates!

And your not using Emunand? Huh. I thought installing cfw on sysnand then playing legal games on ofw would still result in ban.

Yes its a risk he dosen't care about getting banned but if you care get emunand

Im pretty sure most sxos users are using emunand. Thats what makes playing online in OFW even more safer as long you aren't using modified save files in competitive games like Splatoon/Smash Ultimate resulting an app ban.

This is the thing, I have not installed ANYTHING on the Switch aside form legit games. And my XCIs are fully updated offline and merged before launching them on SX OS. One thing that's been always enabled is the stealth mode!.

So what did you do with your NAND beforehand?
On your original NAND did you backup and restore it?
Or did you follow steps of cleaning SYSNAND and using HacDiskMount to delete specific files from your nintendo switch?
Also what size EmuNAND did you use and where did you install it? Hidden, SD or System?

Nothing. Just play Fornite .and update legit games.

EmuNAND is hidden partition that's all.

Like I said , I've been using XCI alone all this time. With Stealth mode enabled at all times.

I went Online OFW while having SX OS on the album? THAT'S NOT POSSIBLE. If you have SX OS on the album that means you are on CFW not on OFW.

I went OFW just by powering off my console and started it like normal. xD

Like I'm sort of confused again sorry.
But You didnt do anything just updated OFW and installed EmuNAND?
USED Emunand for XCI's? But why go on stealth mode? were you connected?
And is your OFW 7.0.0?
And did you format any system? for the sd card?

Let me put it clear

1. I do NOT USE EMUNAND, I only created one so I can update my sysnand to 7.0 xDD that way i can still play backups.
2. I created the EMUNAND when I was on 6.2 because I knew SXOS works on 6.2. I didn't format my SD card, but made a backup of files before creating the Hidden Emunand because that process will delete EVERYTHING on your SD Card.
3. I always used Stealth Mode because I wasn't using EmuNAND at first so it only makes sense to use it while on CFW on SysNand.


If you want to be safe, make sure you don't install ANY NSP on your console, make use of THIS to update your games: https://github.com/julesontheroad/NSC_BUILDER/releases, have your Stealth Mode ON at all times, DO NOT UPDATE GAMES on OFW or CFW EVER, Always always make sure you are on OFW before going ONLINE, DO NOT MODIFY online game savegames.
