Hello. I have a switch with fuses burnt up to 5.1.0, then I used choidujour to update to 6.2.0. My sd card is 128GB, confirmed real, and has been fat32 for some time. I've been successfully using ReiNX for a few months, with homebrew, sigpatches and layeredFS. I'd like to switch to atmosphere, if possible, so I can actually open the album, since ReiNX does not seem to have a way at all to access it. (No buttons seem to open it instead of homebrew and there seems to be no config file that can be manually modified, nor is there an option in the Toolkit.nro.) I'd also like the ability to not have to take an old laptop with me just in case I get one of those "an error occurred" messages and it'll just reboot into cfw, since I don't have a usb mico to C cable to use with a phone.

Anyway, is it possible to use atmosphere for sigpatches and layeredFS on 6.2.0? I downloaded the 0.8.3 release and bin from here, placed the files in the .zip onto my sd card and flashed the fusee-primary.bin as well. It boots up properly, and even opens the homebrew menu as well. I have a slightly custom theme that also seemed to load. When I try to launch a game it either freezes while loading or says the save data is corrupted. Switching back to ReiNX neither of these things are problems. Is there some way I can get this to work, or am I just sticking with ReiNX? Thanks for the help.

I've used ReinX for a long time and just hold the right shoulder button when launching the album and it loads album.

Thank you, that got sigpatches working and all my games boot properly now with saves in-tact.

That's great. However, no combination of buttons works for me to get this to occur. I do seem to remember this working on an older version though. I was, however, able to customize the combination on atmosphere.

Now I know it was said that LayeredFS "just works" with atmosphere, however I cannot seem to get it to function. I simply copied over all content from the "/ReiNX/titles/" folder to "/atmosphere/titles/". This apparently was not sufficient. What else should I be doing? Also my slightly modified theme does show up, isn't that LayeredFS as well?

Huh. Copying them over should be enough, maybe you could try completely reinstalling the mods. Yea qlaunch mods (themes) use layeredFS

i recommend that you use kosmos cfw. it is essentially atmosphere with sig patches.

Good suggestion. Kosmos booted up properly, runs all my games properly, seemed to work with all my layeredFS mods, and even came with a neat program to change some config options in a gui. It also has a unique crash menu that allows me to reboot into the payload. Two issues, however; it seems to crash in homebrew a LOT for some reason, and since the first reboot it refuses to load any layeredFS mods except a theme - no matter the method of boot. Weird. I'd wager the homebrew config editor somehow disabled layeredFS? Is there a way to manually re-enable it?

Edit: I was able to determine that the homebrew for editing the config for some reason removed the next-line commands to the text file. So I reverted to default for hekate_ipl.ini and loader.ini under the bootloader and atmosphere folders respectively, then just made manual changes in them. They do what I expected them to, but layeredFS (or fs_mitm.kip) does not load even though it is present and pointed to in the configs. Well, I guess I'm out then. Why would this be happening?

Edit Again: Okay, I figured out that the same toggle you use for the album seems to apply to loading games with layeredFS. This is actually pretty cool, I'm just not sure why this feature isn't more prominently advertised, since it's pretty sweet.

Last edited by bluedart,
I'm just now seeing your responses Yeah my advice is to not use the homebrew config editor. I don't. I use hekate's settings to set autoboot into cfw. And my layeredfs works fine for Zelda mods and such.
