Hacking PSP used as GBA with GameCube

So here’s the thing, I want to use a psp as a gba for the GameCube, for example on Metroid prime, you get a special costume if you finish prime and connect fusion to the GameCube. Would it be possible to use a mini-b USB to a male USB plugged in a female USB to a game cube controller connector ?

I am pretty sure that this is impossible. The only way would be with an GBA emulator, and I doubt that any software supports this.

GC controllers are not USB, so no. The GBA-GC linking uses a special protocol, no way around using real hardware unfortunately, unless you play in Dolphin and link a GBA emulator to Dolphin.

You could make a PSP to GC cable, by combining:
GC controller cable
Raspberry Pi Zero's expansion port
* Translation program
Pi Zero's USB port
microUSB OTG cable
miniUSB cable
(PSP Go only) the PSP-N440 adapter to give it back a miniUSB port
* GBA emulator on PSP supporting the above program

the asterisk are pieces of software that does not exist but could be made by someone who is interested
