You need your switch keys (you should have them if you've ever converted an xci to nsp) they go in resources, and you find an icon of the game on google and resize it to 256x256. It's a gui program you hit a button beside title id and it makes a random one, app name is the name you want to call the game, author doesn't matter but it needs something like retroarch or mame for example, then choose retroarch core forwarder, there'll be a drop down list you choose your emulator, beside rom path just figure out where your roms are and put in the path. I put it in manually like /switch/mame/roms/xmvssf.zip for example click compile and it'll make an nsp that you just install normally via tinfoil.

Could u send one for smash 64? in /switchvc/n64/Super Smash Bros.z64

No you can do it yourself. I gave instructions a few posts up. Get stuck ask and I'll help.

I mean yeah i posted this to show it off a little but also for people to start doing it too, but there's nothing particularly hard about it to where you can't do it yourselves. Again I'm happy to help if you get stuck, but I'm not going to make them for you. The difficulty is probably like a 3 out of 10 once you get in there and try it. It's even a GUI program, not even a command line involved.

thanks for leaving instructions bud there are like at least 2 dozen games i want to do this with good stuff!

Neato, in the past channels where a wonderful thing on both Wii and Wii U.
And while I like being able to do this ... I would really want folders before I start using this.
Even on my totally legit Nintendo Switch when you are over 200 games it becomes to much of a chore to find games etc.

Not OP but it doesn't take long at all. Probably 10-15 minutes for all 16 games. The long part is finding decent icons in 256x256 (or 512 / 1024), unless you don't mind warping the image.

For the icons I just go to Google and type [gamename] icon and they show up, and then right click the saved image on your computer and choose edit, resize to 256x256 and save, done. Only takes a few seconds. :P

I know but depending on the size of the original image, it can really ruin the icon :(

Personally I set the size under tools on google images to only display images with 256x256.

This is pretty nice, but afaik the N64 Emulator isn't really stable yet (frame drops, crappy sound etc.).
Or was there an update I missed and it's running fine now?

I thought about doing this myself and yes the icons look great but I changed my mind simply because do you want a ton of retro games taking up your nsw screen I prefer to just load one from RetroArch nsp when I feel like it, it’s a valid point.

Until we get a cover flow we have no reasons to show off... Oh, such a great things made for Wii scene back then:

I miss Wii Flow, Usb Loader Gx was a beast for sure, but I always liked the WiiFlow GUI more. Hope we'll see comparable stuff in the future.

Dude some games like super mario 64 and zelda star fox etc run really solid bow 60fps in some cases

That might be true. But I also see games like Turok 3. I tested that one and it's not really in a playable state on Retroarch 1.7.5.
That's why I brought up this question.

Should I check out nightly builds perhaps? I'd really love to play Turok 3 on my Switch.
