Well you can't just use Wood R4 on whatever you want unfortunately, you really just need to buy an R4i Gold 3DS Plus if you really wanted to use cheats without issues. Not only that but games will run better on Wood R4 as well.

Thanks so much for info! Do you recommend a site that sells R4i Gold 3DS Plus? What all can it do? I mainly just want to play my DS ROMs and use cheats for them. Side note, I have a N3DS (New Nintendo 3DS). Any help greatly appreciated

Hi guys. I am using the latest cheat database on my R4i Gold 3DS+ and am having issues with "Golden Sun: Dark Dawn". When I use cheats like max stats, max hp, etc., they don't stick. They work somewhat, but I keep having to press Select to re-apply them after each battle, equipment change, etc. Is there a way to make those codes/cheats stick, without having to press Select each time? Thoughts and help greatly appreciated
Side Note: So far, I have not encountered the freeze issue when using Psynergy. That is good I guess

I have not worked on the codes for that game yet. The reason some codes don't stick is because of the constant changes in memory, it's best to not leave them on 24/7 because some codes can actually make games crash and what not. I plan to work on it but right now it is not on my todo list, I did however fix some AP issues for the game, expect that for the next update!Hi guys. Alright guys and gals, for the sake of a friend's request, I will ask for your guys and gals vote and opinion on this. So a friend of mine is optimizing the code list for a specific game (Mario Kart DS is the game, but this goes for any game in general as well), currently it's a pretty giant list containing well over 500+ codes. He noticed the list of individual unlock codes (basically this means a list of individual things you want to unlock), he mentioned that he made an unlock all code which is already currently present in the code list (basically this code unlocks everything in the game without you having to do anything).
The Question:
What do you guys think about me removing the individual unlock codes and left in the unlock all code?
My Answer:
I say leave them in because not everyone wants to unlock everything before they even get the chance to play the game. Not everyone is in the competitive scene or side of things, people such as myself would like the option to choose what we feel and want to be unlocked. The other code to unlock everything can remain as that is a viable option as well for those that just want to hop in the game and have everything unlocked quickly. I feel like both are optimal for everyone's needs and not just myself and people who are veterans of the game in general.
I know this isn't a poll or anything but we can make this work here, if you think both should stay then say I, if you think the individual codes should be removed, say nay. A reason/opinion as to why would be appreciated as well. Thanks guys, sorry if this is a difficult request, I would just like the see what you guys and gals have to say so I can get the word to him quickly and move on to other games.

I say keep both or keep the individual unlock only codes. As you said it's better to have the option to choose what to unlock. And if someone wants to unlock everything, they can just speed click through them all, cause even for a lot of codes it doesn't take long to if someone is just quickly selecting them all, or otherwise the ones that are going slow are probably reading what they are unlocking instead of just unlocking everything and then see what they got.
I've a question: Is this not compatible with the Drastic DS Emulator? Just asking cuz i didn't see it on the compatibility list.
Yes it actually is compatible, however what you looked at was a flashcart compatibility list. You can use the usrcheat.dat with Drastic and DeSmuMe.

Thank you very much for this, I've been looking for a much more extensive usrcheat.dat for my flashcart. Any chance when you release a new version you could roll in some codes for Renegade Platinum ( https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B-zmEVN0Mas6Q3lLbDJDaWNyaVU ) at some point? I've tried the old Platinum codes and the Rev 1 codes for exp and neither seem to work for me and I updated the CRCs in R4CCE. I think I could be doing something wrong, though.
EDIT: Turns out I forgot the codes I happened to be trying only work when one is not using EXP Share.

Hi there, I replaced the usrcheat.dat file into my R4i SDHC GOLD PRO RTS flashcard and I see some cheats in Chinese in my Pokemon Soul Silver, Black, Black 2 games and I can't understand anything, it's a mess specially in the events section and I couldn't activate events in Soul Silver. Anyone knows how to fix this?
Do not be alarmed, what you saw was actually a bug with the flashcart kernel for that specific model. Try using YSmenu instead, cheats work better with it.

Would love to see some cheats for Pokemon Platinum Renegade, for some reason its not recognised as Platinum so we don't get those cheats
Already added for the upcoming update. Also it won't be recognized as normal Platinum because the game ID is different from the original game.
Alright everyone, a while back I was recommended that I should upload my work on GitHub, in a way I feel like that would be a great idea. One reason being that incase something happens to my work and say my PC decided to screw up or something, I have an online backup. Another reason is because I would like to have some type of license on it maybe, it would help avoid any potential stealing, not only that but the work of others would also be protected as some of peoples cheats in the past are also in this databases as well. What do you guys think of the idea, if you agree or disagree with the idea let me know. Also I would like to know which license I should use for this (if I can), I wouldn't want to use the wrong one. Most of the licenses I read up on are software licenses, so not entirely sure if I can even use a license on something like this.
