I had a similiar problem with the nintendont forwarder, i'm not sure what was going on but after not touching it for months, it stopped working randomly. I ended up using the vwii HBC launcher with gamepad enabled and selecting nintendont from there. I don't know if there is an actual workaround for launching gamecube injects directly from the home menu

There is no need to mess with installed injects. Just download nintendont again and ensure everything is on SD card. You can use Teconmoon's injection app to check and generate Nintendont config file.

I bet you need to check your Nintendont settings. The only way I'm aware of how to do that though is having a Gamecube game on your vWii. Is your vWii hacked? If yes change any gamecube game's name (not an inject, just a gamecube iso) to game.iso and put it in a folder, put that folder, doesn't matter what you name the folder put it in /games on your sd card. Start Nintendont through the homebrew app of vWii (not Wii U) and select the game and you should be able to get to your Nintendont settings. Make sure memory card emulation is set to on. If you made any changes start the game briefly otherwise the settings won't stick.

Hello.
-You can also reinitialize and create a new memory card with Teconmoon injection app.
-You can use Dolphin emulator to import/export games from gamefaqs. Try and see.

Look at the main window. There is a button "Nintendont SD Card Menu". Click on it and a sub-menu will show you settings. Save the new config file to your SD card.

Actually you can just run Nintendont from HBC and it will display a menu. Should be possible to access the settings from there, unless I'm remembering wrong.

Name it boot.dol instead of loader.dol.
Edit: HBC, not HBL.

Which is on vwii and he doesn't want to hack it. I think he's probably got two choices hack it or don't have a memory card for gamecube games, his choice. Sometimes in life you can't be lazy if you want something.

Well, he doesn't have much choice.
no id rather not have to homebrew the vwii
Why not? vWii is much safer to hack than Wii U mode. And much easier too if all you need is HBC.

The reason I think you need a GC iso on there is because I'm pretty sure there's an issue with Nintendont that doesn't save your changes in the options unless you start a game.
