You can use hactool to verify if the nca inside the nsp/xci is signed by nintendo, or if it's a homebrew or non-signed nca.
this is the current method to verify a file is retail or not. But that's only to compare whether it's retail or homebrew, that's all. it will not tell you if it's injected with a bricking program or not.

delayed brick? I read it was an idea, didn't know it has been done.
I don't think ti's the best place to discuss it. let's keep this thread for suggestions :)
I'm open to discuss in PM if you want, but not sure I can be of more help.

You do not have an app that does this to protect the switch permanently. My child can accidentally connect to any network. If it had some app like SXOS stealth mode.

Dunno if this has been suggested already (I also can't find any posts about it), but how about porting Kirikiroid2 (if it's not possible, VNDS or something like that) to the Switch? The Switch would be perfect to read VNs on lol

bank of america app plz

if there is some kind of app to possibly make diablo 3 fun, that would be cool too

90DNS can protect you and block access to all nintendo's servers while keeping access to other websites.
1. disable auto-connect in all your registered networks
2. set 90DNS's DNS IP in all your registered networks settings, so even if your kids force a connection to internet they will be filtered.

it's not an app, no need to launch it, it's directly in the console's settings.

Wondering if anyone would be able to port "The Ur-Quan Masters - Star Control 2" HD port. (Hey... if the psp can handle it, I bet the Switch can...) https://sourceforge.net/projects/sc2/

And HOMM has been mentioned, but i'd love "Heroes of Might and Magic 2 - Gold", based on the FHeroes2 free port. (Hey, if the Vita can handle it, I bet the Switch can...) https://sourceforge.net/projects/fheroes2/

I'm curious as to why no one has made a homebrew app or something that would allow DualShock 4 controllers to connect to the switch WITHOUT a dongle. I know the hardware is compatible, technically the bluetooth should be able to connect to one another.

I've brought this up before on reddit, and people just keep telling me to buy an adapter, I have bought an adapter, it works for a single controller, and I want to play SSBU with everyone playing with a comfortable full sized controller, and I don't personally want to buy 3 more adapters at like $20-$30 each...

Seriously the hardware specs say they are compatible, if I knew how to make something like this happen, I would have already. Unfortunately, I don't have the knowledge needed.

Is there any hb which allows to reboot in rcm? Something like advanced power menu like the Android one.

Came here to post about this. Wasnt even aware a dongle exists to make this happen. 8bitdo i imagine? Figured that was for wored controllers

Inject saves to SysNAND from EmuNAND (to avoid using CFW on SysNAND). This can already be done using HacDiskTool, your Biskeys, and a dump of SysNAND and EmuNAND, but it's tedious and annoying.

Does anyone know of a homebrew app that can soft reset a switch? or if it's even possible. Would love to not have to exit out of game for pokemon shiny legendary resets

Idea: Just a homebrew to see your playtime from games for people who are always offline and don't linked a Nintendo Account (like me)
This... can be done as a sysmodule, we have ways to check the current process (as my xor : play did), so...
And no, don't ask me, unless you want me to leave Goldleaf

My requests:
1. A software-side method of using generic USB controllers with the Switch (with the dock).
2. A way to safely unmount and remount the microSD card while the Switch is on, so rebooting is not required.
3. A way to only allow certain URLs on the internet (similar functionality to 90DNS, but more strict; only user-allowed websites).
