he contacted me in pms and we came to the conclusion its his SD card, hes getting a new one in a few days.

my comment was as helpful as the comments telling him to try a different CFW like kosmos or atmosphere because if his cfw boots without his SD then it isnt the cfw is it?

No because we had no ill will in trying to help him unlike your post to us. All you had to do was correct us without throwing in the brain cells comment but I guess that's a little too much to ask from you. You have to not only show you're smarter than other people you have to insult on top of it just shows there's something wrong with you.

I get it now they worked on ReinX and got butthurt that anyone even suggested their CFW could have been at fault of one person's issues, very petty. Also you guys copied TX.

all the problems I've had have always been related to the mac. Using a virtual machine windows all the problems I had disappeared.
let us know if you solve. Possibly delete everything except "NINTENDO" and copy everything with windows.

I wouldn't say that as rude as you do but @EliseZeroTwo "Without any help comment in your answer"....
please stay at your Dev community and post things like that there ;)

@itsmemike did you find a solution to your problem or is it still ongoing?

It would be nice to inform the rest of us what is ongoing.
We tried to help ;)

ill be sure to keep the post updated with changes I make. Should I find a solution ill be sure to post it here in the event that someone else has/is experiencing similar issues.
I have a new SD card coming in the mail Jun 2-8th expected date from Amazon. I will also try to use a different card reader to eliminate potential causes
I have used VM Windows to format to exFat and downloaded files and placed them on the SD through Windows (0% Mac involvement)
I continue to experience the glitched ReiNX screen and then a black screen. all files are from the official website including payload

p.s thank you for all of your help so far -ReiNX developers and GBA members

Three different SD cards and none of them worked? That's a bit odd. I remember having a similar issue in the past and found the cause of it to be a bad USB-C cable. It was able to launch payloads in the past, but now it can only charge the device. Luckily I had a few more lying around to replace it.

Your issue may be different since you tried a portable payload injector as well, but since you seem to be having a hardware issue, I thought it might have been worth mentioning.

The other SD cards that I have are no name brands (unreliable most likely and fairly old) so perhaps getting a reputable brand in the mail might help.
In terms of payload injectors I've tried using Fusee and Fusee web based chrome and also the payload injector device, all of which created the glitchy screen

for the USB-C cable im using my original MacBook USB-C to USB-C cable.

And don't be a macOS haters. That's not cool. I am using macOS and my Nintendo Switch is fine. You must know what you are doing with a macOS that's all. It is just kinda complicate but once you know how to use it and it will be easy. Dont be a silly. :)

In the event that the SD cards being used aren't the issue, which they most likely are given that they're off-brand, I'd definitely suggest trying out a different USB C cable. This issue sounds similar to the one I had back when I used ReiNX particularly because of the glitched screen part.

I do not hate the mac, I only know that every time I copy files for the switch I always have problems. The last problem was that homebrew launcher did not see the switch folder. Tested in a thousand different ways and nothing. Used windows worked suddenly. I think for some things the mac and switch do not go well. For the nsp for example it is perfect.

I am not talking about you. And you are absolutely right. I did the same thing.

However...

You have to remember to do a clear archive flag on all folders except the Nintendo.

yes, i found this solution on reddit.
for convenience now use windows for everything and for the nsp the mac. The best solution also disable dot file generation on unit.

It wasn't that you suggested a different CFW, if it were a problem with our cfw then we wouldnt care about you reccomending others. Also as you say we `copied TX` im kinda interested in what you mean? Do you mean we started implementing their services? I'm pretty sure that's less copying than them using zerotwoxci code in the latest sx beta? Implementing their service calls isn't "copying" them at all it's just reverse engineering their loader so their exclusive homebrew works on ReiNX too.

don't use type-c to type-c, the exploit lies on a hardware flaw being a usb 3.0 connection. Use a dongle from type-c to usbF ---- usbM to type-c. also just use the fusee launcher with it in a windows vm (forward that usb device for passthrough) inject payloads.

You could have corrected us without the insults but you got butthurt. It's done, everyone can see it on the first page.

I apologise to the people who I got annoyed at yesterday issue was with the files on the SD (so still not with our CFW).
