Well specifically hekate, as afaik it's still the only way to get a guaranteed, verified good backup.Anything that will backup your nand is perimount.

Never forget Goldleaf!Except ReiNX, absolutely nothing. Oh, an NSP installer, so either dopus (n1dus) or latest version of Tinfoil. Apart from that, the only homebrew that I feel important is RetroArch but that's for emulation.
I THINK if someone could write a proper working Logs cleaner which erases completely any traces about usages. very useful tool for someone who want to experience HB, emu or games before buying them, and still able to roll to OFW and go online without any repercussion.hey guys, are there any absolutely necessary homebrew apps that a beginner would need?

Clearing logs can be even more dangerous than having themI THINK if someone could write a proper working Logs cleaner which erases completely any traces about usages. very useful tool for someone who want to experience HB, emu or games before buying them, and still able to roll to OFW and go online without any repercussion.
why? a good log cleaner doesn't necessary required to reset any tracers, it can rather replaces all HB, pirated game traces with a fake log.Clearing logs can be even more dangerous than having them
Never forget Goldleaf!

client or servers?Any good ftp clients?

That can become a bigger red flag if you've already sent error reports to Nintendo. There's no reason for any tool to remove error reports now that creport is out since it prevents error reports from being saved in the first place.why? a good log cleaner doesn't necessary required to reset any tracers, it can rather replaces all HB, pirated game traces with a fake log.
DUDE, i don't have any acknowledged about hacking, that's just an idea about how to make our hacked Switches appeal as "clean" as possible. That can become a bigger red flag if you've already sent error reports to Nintendo. No offense but someone who has no knowledge about hacking shouldn't be blindly submitting ideas without some research. For instance, several months back, SciresM revealed that firmware 5.0 added tracking for error logs being removed.DUDE, i don't have any acknowledged about hacking, that's just an idea about how to make our hacked Switches appeal as "clean" as possible.
5.0.0 really upped the info in Crash Reports: https://t.co/lp9eRpva59.

Be careful with tools like dreport, too, it looks like erpt maintains statistics about reports saved/uploaded/failed to upload, deleting may cause detectably inconsistent statistics.
okay, so??? u mean after FW5, even log appeals ''clean'', which still means that's not right and will lead you to ban?No offense but someone who has no knowledge about hacking shouldn't be blindly submitting ideas without some research. And there was a tool to remove error logs known as nx-dreport but was removed not only because of what was said earlier about it leading to bans but because the superior creport came along. As such, the author depreciated the project entirely making the source code invisible to the public if you follow the link above.

If you really feel that strongly about it, you should just make a post in this thread. This is not a thread for people to suggest new homebrew ideas, it was a place for OP to ask out of all of the available homebrew applications, which ones are the most necessary.okay, so??? u mean after FW5, even log appeals ''clean'', which still means that's not right and will lead you to ban?
if so, someone, possibly more skilled than the guy should make a better log cleaner/replacer.
oh, man, u r right, i didn't read the 1st post, i guess it could be a random coder who 's asking for ideas to start a new projectIf you really feel that strongly about it, you should just make a post in this thread.
