If you use my save in place of yours in Twilight Menu++, will it work? I'm just curious.
It does work, and then if I save over your save and try to import it to desmume it's corrupted. The only difference between my working save and these saves after trimming is the footer, I think it's failing to encrypt correctly? Or a checksum, rather.

Yeah. I wouldn't even know where to begin with fixing this issue. Thank god it's not something actually important. I really appreciate your help though.

EDIT: Unless it's something stupid simple like opening my save via hex editor or something and just copying everything from it to a normal sized save.

What the hell, it worked now. I erased my desmume save completely, created a new game in desmume until I was able to save, then trimmed your save to 64KB and imported it with default settings, and it worked, it's 64KB now. I would recommend that even if you don't use it with desmume you replace your save file with this one, since it's the correct size.

Thank you so much. Now I can finally show that NPC who's boss.

If you have a little bit of OCD about the spell listings and you are using a flashcart, do the following:

1. Open the ENG version and save your game.
2. Open Flashcard in PC and rename the SAV file to the JPN version filename.
3. Open JPN version and load the save game. Draw the spell. Save the game.
4. Open Flashcard in PC and rename the SAV back to the ENG version filename.
5. Open the ENG version and load the save game. Check and see the spell is still there.
6. Rest easy, that you have the spell listed (Even though it isn't required)

:P
It worked, thank you.

I couldn't go more than 3 wins in a row haha. She had 2 Kings in two piles and a Joker/Priest combo pile. I had 0 face cards. Rigged from the beginning. Glad I save stated.

Game breaking bug of ENG Translated patched game.

Game Freezes or Stops Responding if you exchange casino S rank item Dubious Mirror & few other items.
This does not happen in unpatched JP version.

Quest 036. How does this quest solve?

The Resurrection freezing and the exchange medals for prizes in Casino freezing only happen in the English translation. The Spanish version works fine, on both flashcarts and emulators, even sleep mode works.

I'll add these known issue to the first post.
users will see it's already reported. can you confirm this:

so far, progress blocking bug:
Issues
- In dream world: You can't give the correct answer. Misinterpreting the 0 for an O letter.
- the resurrection spell : Freeze. Only affected by certain flashcarts, or by original v1.0 patch.
- The exchange medals for prizes in Casino : Freeze. (only some flashcart too ?)

Solution:
current workaround is to transfer the savegame and do that part on the spanish or japanese ROM, then re-import the savegame to english game.
another solution can be to use an emulator, another flashcart, the original arm7 patch, and/or japanese ROM.
Note: Always keep a backup of your savegame whenever you can ! even if you never need to use another playing method, keep previous savegame files. In case the game has an unreported bug and you lose your current progress you won't have to restart the game from the beginning.

Is that fine? should I change or add other things? Maybe I'll put the savegame backup recommendation more visible.
Maybe I should separate the rez spell, saying it's never required in the game, it's only a fake spell? solution is to leave it alone.

I didn't have the rez spell issue, I'm using SuperCard DSTwo, and the restored arm7 patch, playing on 3DS.
I'm not at the casino yet, and I didn't try to do the dreamworld riddles either.
