Is the way to use this search engine to pick a numeric value for one of your stats, let's say HP and my HP is 400, so I convert that to HEX which is 0x190, then I do Cheat Searcher, New Cheat Search, 16bit Unsigned, Exact Value 0190 and let it run?

I only ask because it keeps returning to many values, so I wasn't sure if I need to pick something else to search for or if I sas just utilizing this feature incorrect.

You're using it right, so far. You need to use those results further, change your HP in-game and then search your previous results for the new value. Repeat until you have the right location.

LOL - it's showing I have 32,646 possible results...should I increase my HP then search again when I have a higher value?

Higher values generally return fewer results.

I searched for power gems for Monster Boy a few days and had to start with 1. There were over 16 million hits! Took a lot of finding gems and spending gems and re-searching to get that down to just one location!! But it does work on most games.

Awesome - as long as I'm doing it the right way, I don't mind spending a few hours grinding away at the game, lol

Just do as many changes as you can in-game and re-search after every change. The hits will dwindle quickly.

Can I use Checkpoint and export my save and compare the values on a PC? Would a program like HxD (hex viewer) essentially do the same thing?

Also, still hoping for Smash Bros cheats for:
--Inf Smash special attack
--Freeze % to a certain ammount for classic mode and adventure mode.

This isn't easy to create. It's gonna take alot longer to create. The values are hard to keep track

I was wanting to test my findings of cheat code against a verified one, so I played SMO and got 9999 gold coins, I then converted 9999 to hex and got 270F - so I did a 16 bit unsigned exact value search on that and it produced 16219 possible hits.

How did the author of this cheat find the proper point to cheat for the max coins if there are over 16K results to scan through?

you need to do more searching after you changed the value in game, won't get you anywhere with only 1 search
