Hacking [NewHax] Frogminer - 100% FREE B9S cfw - 11.8 - US / EU / JP

Works flawlessly. Now moving on to updating my wifes 3ds from 4.4 running gateway card to this.. this will work a lot better.

"Booted into Flipnote, follow these steps to boot into b9stool"
After I finish I get a solid white screen instead of boot b9stool.
so what happened?
I want to add a picture but the system doesn't let me do this.

Copy all data off the SD card, format the SD card using guiformat and copy everything back

You can simply update to 11.9 and then do frogminer

It is restricted to the latest version. You need to download Steel Diver: Sub Wars. And to access the Eshop you need the latest version (which was 11.8 when zoogie created this thread). The guide is already updated:

You can find Frogminer in the version table only for 11.9 now.

Try and launch DS internet Settings inside 3ds system settings / Internet button.
Blackscreen usually means you had a bricked DS mode before you started Frogminer.

mine actually does the same thing EXCEPT it just launches the white screen for a second and then goes black and a couple seconds later it goes to sleep mode saying software closed does this mean i have bricked ds mode?



if So can i format EVERYTHING even my system memory and maybe it will unbrick ds mode ive been SEARCHING EVERYWHERE and nothing helped PLEASE answer asap

When you format, the system doesn’t redownload a new set of apps, because they aren’t ever meant to be tampered with. (I know because I have tried). You could try to see if it is the card with H2Wtest, but it is most likely you DS mode. Did you follow the part of the guide that said to go into DS Download Play?

i also have done this a couple weeks ago and 2 days ago i deleted a file with no blocks and it had a ? mark and it deleted everything i had (except for the systems apps) i tried to restore everything because i backed it up once i first got cfw and it STILL didnt work so i formatted my sd card and i followed every step and jpn flipnote studio wont even load instead it just goes white for a second and then goes black and then goes into sleep mode like when it would when i press the power button normally

i did but i uninstalled it because i had no other option. i looked everywhere online none seemed to help. so that was my only idea

Ahh yes, that file. I had that file on my New 3ds when I haxed it and decided to delete it. It removed every title on the NAND, forcing me to restart from scratch with a new Nand. Let’s just say that that file is the reason your DS mode is bricked. Wait, does that mean that you already have CFW?

uninstalling cfw is never the solution, especially after you already did damage, because without cfw you have way less chances of fixing what you broke. Looks like you're stuck
