We all know that when you are banned it's not your account but your whole console that is banned, Right ?

And if your console's cert is in your NAND maybe we can create ourselves new certs (with new ID's and all), and replace the old ''nx_tls_client_cert'' with our new one. And because the new one isn't the same as your banned one you won't be blacklisted from Nintendo's Servers anymore. So MAYBE this can be used to get unbanned but I'm not sure, I don't know a lot about how Nintendo certs work. (Don't insult me if i'm wrong about all I just said please)

Also, does anybody know why even banned i'm still able to perform a System Update while i'm not allowed to?

Any certs we'd create would need to be signed with Nintendo's private key, which we do not have, in order to be considered valid. This simply won't work.

Since everyone is telling OP that it is virtually impossible to create fake certificates (which it is) but not answering the second question...

That just means you're not CDN banned. Since the public cannot abuse CDN downloading anymore, there's no purpose in distributing CDN bans anymore. Plus game updates are now blocked behind soft bans.

Although technically possible to break the private key [i think] the amount of time, effort and processing power to bruteforce it would be enormous, and possibly not even capable in nowadays technologies, at least not in a decent amount of time. Unless you're planning to make a nice 128 RTX 2080 Ti and 16 AMD Threadrippers, i don't think it's happening anytime soon.

I have a foolproof way to unban. Go to your local retail outlet and buy a new Switch. Take it home and unpack it from the retail package. Power it on and set up your Nintendo account. Insert the game cartridge and enjoy. Done!
Yeah because 300 isn't a lot

Yeah, let's just forge a valid certificate, how hard can it be???

Well, if you're curious how long it would take to brute force encryption like that, here's a video on how secure 256-bit hashes are:

Hope you brought your billions and billions of kilo-google supercomputers
