hello,
I know that the dock has 3 usb ports (two on the side and one where the hdmi cables and power are). I would like to know if they are usb 2 or 3.
In fact, I would like to use a HDD with sx os and I would like to know which USB port has the fastest speed of loading. (I remeber there was a difference with the wii and the wiiU too I think...)
Thank you

The internal one near the HDMI port is definitely USB 3 as it is blue. The front ones, Im not sure about tho.

Anything that isn't marked blue is USB 2.0. Also, you didn't have to open a new thread just to answer this question.

yes because I didn't found the usb switch speed anywhere ;)

Thanks. My HDD is also USB 3 so technically, it's faster with this one but is the switch firmware or the console's architecture curb the speed maybe ?
I did some test with splatoon 2 and all the loading have the same speed with all the three USB
Maybe there is a way to unlock the usb 3 speed? I do not know very well ...

The Switch dock has two USB 2.0 ports and one USB 3.0 (behind the panel).
From what I know however the Switch firmware still hasn't been updated to support 3.0 yet so you shouldn't see any difference between the three.

This is true, as posted below, the Switch doesn't use the full usb 3 speed. Sucks cuz loading games and installing NSPs takes a fair amount of time over USB 2
