Hello, I've been looking for a way to hide the Luma config menu and payloads menu startup, I've found the Kecleon patch, Luma-hidden and Luma Stealth, but none of these have been updated to support 11.8/ Luma 9.1.
Was wondering if their was something else or if someone could compile a 9.1 version for me.

I mean to disable start/select on powerup to get into these menus. The 3DS will be for a kid and I dont want them to be able to get into these menus by accident.

Maybe I'm wrong but if I remember correctly luma can be installed on nand but I'm not 100% sure
It can be, but this will still leave the menus accessible.

Trust me that they won't get to them by accident.

Their were ways in Luma 8.1 with Luma Hidden and Luma Stealth but these haven't been updated.
Advice: Care about it once they boot to it because they can't do anything in it anyways. They'd just scream "Dad, we have a weird screen" but that's about it.
I mean it seriously. You are creating "problem" somewhere where it does not exist.

Substitute Luma3DS with its related custom firmware kin, Rei-Six.
  1. Swap the boot.firm found on the root of the SD card.
2A. Add the rei folder on root.
  • This will show splash screens and user string tag .: Rei 11.8.0-41E in System Settings.
or

2B. Don't add rei folder. Super minimum.

By swithing to Rei-Six

  • No Luma3DS chainloader
  • No Luma3DS configuration
  • No Luma3DS Rosalina menu
  • No injecting system titles with Homebrew Launcher
    • There's a way to get around this by installing an older version of Nintendo 3DS Sound app, thereby reintroducing soundhax.
    • You would then have to use hblauncher_loader.cia to chainload with a *.bin payload to then launch boot.3dsx.
