Homebrew Question Nintendo GameCube games on Nintendo Switch

you can run run Gc games with the dolphincore at acceptable fps...

I finished Mario Sunshine on my Switch about a month ago using Lakka:

For lakka ut says the sd card has to be exfat32 but right now I'm just using exfat. If I were to switch to exfat32 how would I be able to play games I already have installed that are more than 5 gb?

It's not exFat32 it's Fat32. You can actually just transfer all files on your sd card to your pc, format your sd card to Fat32 then move everything back and it'll work fine. As far as new games you want to add the best way is usb install if you have a usb type c cable, then there's no 4 gb limit. It's also the best way IMO because you don't have to take out your sd card to add or remove nsps thus having to run the payload again each time so it saves you trouble.

For the sd card to format it to Fat32 you'll need a program like this https://www.partitionwizard.com/free-partition-manager.html this one works great.

How did you find the controls were.. Was it still playable enough (watergun sensitivity) without the gamecube soft triggers?

What about xci files?

Hows lakka running? The site said you weren't able to put the system in sleep mode an also no volume. Is this still the case?

No sleep mode and no sound by jack, only Bluetooth.
For this lakka can be something playable with hing overclocking, however I'm not gonna take the risk of melting my switch for less than 30fps.

Also yes, with lakka and oc i played some harvest moon a wonderful life just fine, like 25 - 30 fps with some slowdowns.

Please stop spreading lies. Anyone who claims the new OC melts anything are simply spreading uneducated guesses. I can confirm that after HOURS of N64 play and PSX play, the shit doesn't even come close to the temp of 30 mins of Super Mario Party.

Pretty much, i hate those guys afraid of overclock and spreading lies about it. Its not like they're doing a EXTREME BCLK OC on a computer, im playing FFVII with retroarch and it doesnt even get too much hot.

So you say it's 100% safe? If not, you must make an advice. And I think that anyone can say it. OC most devices is not 100% safe and not in hours but on months or years can affect them.
It's not suicide of course and it is useful, I make OC on my pc, but it must be said.
I'm not discussing it anyway.
