Hacking [NewHax] Frogminer - 100% FREE B9S cfw - 11.8 - US / EU / JP

Hi! Can anyone help? I'm stuck at a black screen, it's not booting JPN version of Flipnote Studio.
I'm stuck at
Section V - Flashing FIRM.
After #4 & 5, I get:
import: 5 sdmc:/484E4441.bin.patched
fsopen: 00000000
importing dsiware...
twl import: 00000000 SUCCESS!

Tap the Frog to continue...

Then, #6.

1. Select the “BOOT patched DS Download Play” option

After, selecting and pressing A, I get Booting Dlp....
Then stuck at a black screen.

Just done another one of these this morning using the updated guide from Plailect, again big thanks to @zoogie

I had to have 2 attempts at it this time as it locked up on me, but second time around it worked like a charm

my 2ds is now loaded with every pokemon handheld game from gb-3ds thanks to this there was no way i was gunna rebuy games i have on my n3ds <3

I have 2 questions:
1) Can I remove the "steelhax" and "private" folders on the root of my sd card?
2) Can I unfriend the friend that I was asked to add at bruteforcemovable dot com?

I have same problem

Try and launch DS internet Settings inside 3ds system settings / Internet button.
Blackscreen usually means you had a bricked DS mode before you started Frogminer.

Did this successfully on my New 3DS XL running 11.8!
I have 2 questions:

Then the file cannot be injected with the hax on the website for injecting. Please can someone help me fix this ASAP. Thanks

DS Download Play doesn't load the homebrew launcher from there, only black screen, but I can still access the Rosalina Menu during this. What should I do with this part? Thankies

You're supposed to do step 2 right after you boot 3ds download play. You don't press either of the big buttons while inside the app.

This leads me to believe you had a bricked dsi mode before frogminer (this is common for some reason, maybe cfw attempts in the past corrupted it?).
Anyway, see if you can boot DS internet settings. It's in 3ds system settings under the big Internet button.
It it doesn't boot, that's a telltale sign of bricked dsi mode. Can't do anything about that except move on to the ntrboot method.

Hello zoogie! I was about to edit my comment as I've found out what to do with it, being changing the boot.3dsx that was already in my SD card to the one found here. I'm currently doing the SysNand back-up. Thanks for replying though

2. If the exploit was successful, your device will have loaded the Homebrew Launcher
3. Launch Frogtool from the list of homebrew
4. Select the “RESTORE clean DS Download Play” option
   • This will remove the Flipnote Studio application and exploit to restore the default functionality of DS Download Play
5. Exit Frogtool

When I execute Steel Diver, the system errors out.

Let me know if the Crash Dump will help. If I try to enter DS Download Play manually, I get pushed into Flipnote Studio. I'm new to this and I've tried searching through these and other forums and don't know where to turn next. Most peoples' problems seem to be bricking or more critical failures. This issue looks like I might just lose ability to do DS Download Play, but I don't want to proceed and possibly break something else if it's important I restore the clean DS Download Play.

This is a mistake in the guide. You can't run homebrew the regular way once cfw is installed.

You need to do this part of the guide:

Once you complete section III you can access frogtool 2.0 again and RESTORE clean ds download play.

No: If your DS-mode is broken, you can’t use Frogminer to install cfw.
Yes: Once you have cfw (installed by another method, probably ntrboot) you can repair the DS-mode.

Have you read the first post of this thread? There is a link to the Frogminer guide. The Frogminer method has also included in Plailect’s guide.
