Hacking [NewHax] Frogminer - 100% FREE B9S cfw - 11.8 - US / EU / JP

Will Frogminer work ??

yes, you need to update to 11.8, frogminer does not work on any other firmware

I got as far as where it should load up the homebrew menu with the game but I get a blank black screen. It's a completely new device so there's no Luma.

You talking about steel diver or flipnote studio?

If it's steel diver, it's normal to have to wait a little at the black screen. The hax takes a bit to trigger.

When i try to boot b9stool I just get a green screen. I've already formatted my SD card to FAT32. What else can I try?

just update to 11.8 then follow the Frogminer guide for CFW

Thanks for this! I'm not particularly tech savvy, but I just got this installed on my New 2DSXL (11.8.0-41E). It was pretty straightforward. Only minor bump I ran into was during the "Finalizing Setup" stage. I thought I still had to open Homebrew via the Steel Divers game and so FBI, etc. would not launch/install. I was stumped for a few minutes until I realized my mistake. I opened Homebrew via the Download Play app and was back on track. Now to download and install some games!

Thanks so much for your work, zoogie! I had used Soundhax/A9LH on my Old 3DS but this did the trick for my newly-acquired New 3DS. It was a bit confusing jumping between the Steelhax guide, Frogminer guide, and Plailect's Finalizing Setup, but there were no hitches at all.

Warning: DONT install boot9strap multiple times!!
Warning: Only use B9sTool with https://3ds.hacks.guide
Warning: for firmwar 11.8.0-x ONLY

And then it goes to the "Will BRICK if A9LH is installed!"

Now, it has been like a year since I've done anything with my New 3DS. The only thing I ever had on my New 3DS was the Soundhax on 11.3 firmware.

Hold select while powering on your 3ds, do you see a luma config screen?

If yes, then you simply update the boot.firm to the latest luma3ds then update the console's firmware.

It just comes up as the normal home screen. I also tried the renaming of the key.bin solution, and it didn't work for me.

I formated my sd, reinstalled all things many time, always stopped at this step
