I've been using USB Loader GX for a few days now and all the games I've tried work fine except for my copy of Metal Slug Complete (NTSC-J). I noticed that if I turn on my second wiimote (I only have 2), a message pops up in what I'm assuming is supposed to be in Japanese and I'm forced to turn off my Wii and turn it back on. I'm able to have two wiimotes connected if I have them both on when I boot the game but if one of them turns off, the message pops up. If you got the same problem and/or know a fix, please help me out!

here's my syscheck:

Both wiimotes are properly sync with system menu ? or is it a temporary sync?

Can't you access the game's home menu and select wiimote re-sync? it should allow temporary synchronization of wiimotes, even if not synced with the system menu.

Both wiimotes are properly synced with the Wii system menu. I haven't tried to connect them in-game with the Home Menu open cause I didn't think I'd need to cause they're both already synced

Then, maybe they are not official nintendo wiimote?
some third parties can have issues in games.

I don't know if wiimote+ can be a problem too, for games released before the wiimote+ was created.

If it's official nintendo wiimotes, then I don't know what the problem is, sorry.

They're both official non motionplus Wiimotes. Maybe I didn't describe the problem well enough, sorry about that I'm new around here. If I boot up Metal Slug Complete with one wiimote on and the other off and turn the second one on while in-game, I'm forced to restart my Wii due to the message I've mentioned earlier popping up. If I have both on when I boot up the game and one turns off, the same message pops up and I have to restart my Wii. If you want I can send a video

that's fine, I understood, but I really don't know why that happen.
Maybe someone else would have an idea.

What I can suggest as last idea :
the Wiimote is managed by the cIOS. Maybe that game require a specific base. You are currently using base56 (slot249) for that game, right?
did you try slot250 to use base57 ?
you can try to install d2x cIOS base38 in slot 248 and set that game to that slot. Old game used old IOS, maybe that could help.

I'll leave the ideas to other users, and maybe they have/had the same problem.
I hope you can find a solution.

I've tried ios250 but that hasn't worked. I'll try ios 248 and then an alternate dol. When installing ios248, do I use beta52 like the other ones? I'm not sure how to go about installing ios248

UPDATE: welp, that didn't work. I'm all out of ideas now. Guess that's one more thing to add to your list of stuff to fix lol. Thanks for helpin me out

Hello,

You say ==> "except my copy of Metal Slug Complete (NTSC-J)."

Your game is Japanese and not USA ??

Try to see with the USA version.

Hello.:)

I´ve tried the Game (NTSC-J) but i´ve only had two Wii Controllers with Motion Plus inside.:)
USBLoader GX V3.0 rev1268,nothing to configure,started the Game,no error message.Both Wiimotes works.Tried one Player Game,second joins etc.
The light on the second Wiimote goes out when inactive but when pressed a Button it responded immediatly.

that may just be my problem, one of my Wiimotes (non motionplus) has a low battery

Hello :)

What type of Batteries you´ve use ?

- normal AA Batteries
- rechargeable Batteries
- rechargeable Akku/Akku Pack

if rechargeable which Methode:

- extern per Powerunit
- USB per PC or Wii

Mayce it´s possible when you use rechargeable Akkus/Batteries they were not 100 % charged or they are by the Chargeingunits LED/Display but really the they not holding the voltage (they collapse).

I just use regular duracell AA, one of them's at low though so later today I'll replace em and get back to ya

the loader is not in memory after launching the game, so it's not responsible for wiimote compatibility.
It can be a loader's issue if you try another loader (Wiiflow or CFG Loader) with the same setup/setting, and you don't have the same issue. otherwise, it's not fixable from the loader.

I'm not sure it could help, but there's an option for japanese imported games.
look in the individual game setting, something called "import" or "patch language" ... I don't remember the exact option name.
but if I remember correctly, it's only for games which had issues displaying japanese fonts. I don't think it'll do anything for wiimote compatibility.

Sneek is a good option. Generate a Japanese NAND.
