Couldnt it be that the malware author simply was a Pokemon trainer that speced towards beating Pikachu users?

I mean - now the thing holding their Pikachu doesnt work anymore. Its the risk of every Poke-Trainer.

Pokemon is just an RPG thats too easy anyways. Those kids arent accustom to loosing - isn't it simply that... ;) Everyone knows that Eevee is simply more well rounded anyhow. (*trollolol* ;) )

Wow, thread is now 25 pages, this thread should have stopped at like the 2nd or 3rd reply. No NAND backup? Suck it up and move on.
This literally<3 just angry entitled kids who can't follow simple instructions...

Tried to give these guys time to fix their mistake...
EDIT: I dont think the thread needs to be deleted or locked, I want to see if he fixes all of these broken consoles he caused. Also, if he is not banned, at least until he fixes the issues he caused this needs to exist for awareness to others whom he may attack on the site or other platforms(at least our members will be safe.)

its funny cause if this was something not in the "piracy" or warez world you could easily pursue legal action but now all you got is people who got bricked who have no problem doxxing and maybe more

karma is real af, even if you have "remorse"

Fuuuucckk. This is hitting hard and it's getting worse as time goes on. I deserve it though.
I'll explain some of this as this goes along.
JellyPerson is not me, I know him.

I'm out. I think it's best if I no longer bring this up or post in this thread. This is drama and should be ignored or never brought up again.

Don't worry, it's ok because you released the source to your project.

And now other script kiddies can do this exact same thing with minimal effort and knowledge.

Prepare for this already toxic scene to get much more toxic in the near future ..

1. I don't remember sharing it on wnx, and I never would.
2. I never did that. I can wholeheartedly say that nobody should be held accountable other than me and JellyPerson. Sure, it's a good idea to have NAND backups, but not having them does not make it your fault. It's still my and his fault. It always will be, what we did is horrible
Dude, you deserve to banned and shunned, what you did is disgusting, but you don't deserve to be doxxed.

Out of curiosity why do it?

Telling people it's their fault for not backing up their nand is like telling people it's their fault for getting shot at a shooting because they didn't have a bulletproof vest................... Gosh.

Like, seriously. I'm amazed how you can say those things and think it's a good analogy. People getting shot aren't doing anything illegal, they're just there. They ARE innocent. They live their lives.
You are, on the contrary, are doing something ILLEGAL. You are well aware of it. There is NO guarantee for ANYTHING, and EVERY single guide out there tells you to be cautious and backup. I'd add that it's not -exactly- the same things as risking your life.
If you don't want to play by these rules it's perfectly fine, you can keep your switch legit. Legit owners don't have to worry about bricking, and Nintendo will cover them.

How many times are guys going to pretend pirates are only victims here? You were talking about lying to Nintendo to try to have them handle the cost of this, of your own mistake while trying to steal from them.
You got balls no doubt. So angry (and with reason but that's not the problem) against two specifics people that you're making even more mistakes such as showing your face publicly talking about pirating unreleased games. Don't be surprised if Nintendo sends you an email.

I find myself hard to empathize with the victims of their brick. Of course what the author of the brick code did is quite horrible and malicious. But it was each one of the victims who decided to hack their console (which is the equivalent to make them unsafe), decided to skip security measures like a nand backup and choose to install whatever link they first found in a warez site, nobody was forced to install the fake game and anybody who's not completely naive would have checked first for replies or validation if its true.

It's the internet, you're not supposed to be naive in the internet. And you're hacking a console, you don't have the luxury of not knowing what you're doing.
