Wanted to report back after testing the r2.1 release. Games such Donkey Kong now displays correctly, but I found 3 bugs.
- Punch Out Is one of those vertical games, however, the imáge stretch to 4:3 after inserting a coín.
- Altered Beast has no sound.
- Some games flickers the screen (perhaps this is related to the GL rendering, Altered Beast Is one of those games affected by this bug.

I have watched plenty of MVG's videos before and always enjoy the content.

I wanted to say thanks for the awesome release and update and scanlines in the future would be great to have as others have mentioned.

If it is ever possible to look into porting a core / getting something to work etc for Killer Instinct 1 + 2 that would be another dream come true next to the awesome MK we have now (=

Also, I am not sure how hard it would be to port over Daphne LaserDisc emulator for some Dragon's Lair / Space Ace but please keep it in mind if you ever happen to look into it, thanks!

I am having issues
(Yes my Switch is hacked and running Fat32 format on SX PRO) After i did the installation...
I can open the emulator just fine and scroll up and down on the menus. When i select a rom (I have MK2 (L.3) that is compatible in the roms folder) it does not display it and the MAME request me some files because they are missing (It displays a message below)
1. Namcopac.6e NOT FOUND
2. Namcopac.6f NOT FOUND
3. Namcopac.6h NOT FOUND
4. Namcopac.6j NOT FOUND
5. Pacman.5e NOT FOUND
6. Pacman.5f NOT FOUND
7. 82s123.7f NOT FOUND
8. 82s126.4a NOT FOUND
9. 82s126.1m NOT FOUND
10.82s126,3m NOT FOUND

ERROR:required files are missing, the game cannot be started. (The emulator pops this message when i select the rom menu, options menu.(The first three except for the exit selection.

I need some help with this, (i did not delete any of the contents within the files of the emulator folders)

Any resolve for this? I have the same issue

First, after installing, there is only a blank white icon. Second, any choice I make even quit, makes it scan for pacman roms and fails.

Updates (Saturday October 27,2018)
I solved the issue.
When you install Mame NX, you cannot take the app (NRO file) and place it separately in the home brew menu, that was the issue, it displays a blank app if you do that. (I use SX OS CFW)
You need to open it using homebrew (2.0) app, not from the SX OS own homebremenu.
After i did that, i placed a game in the MAME Sub-folder (The one that comes with when you extract it) After i placed Metal slug 4 in that rom folder after i started the App, it was able to detect and select that rom to play.
Hope this helps you.
