its a 6.0+ game
lower firmware does not have the master key to load it
It definitely doesn't use the 6.x master key. I just tested it to be certain and it loads up perfectly happily on my 5.1.0 Switch.
I expect it "requires" 6.x, but that can be bypassed with dz or with tinfoil & "ignore version" option.
I don't know if it runs on 4.x, it probably uses the 5.x master key.

Souls is made to have an online component to help if you get stuck, by summoning others to help who know the fight. Then you have a multiple person fight.

I just started the game, after 5 minutes, you come across this guard, what's the point of fighting several people against him? I play solo here, since 1983 the developers have been making games with PROGRESSIVE difficulty, what is the interest has pushed the solo players to team up to pass the first enemy encountered? Seriously this game is 6 years old, I know the rules of multiplayer, in this case, make a game only playable online in coperation, no solo mode. I think it should explode all the pillars and die crushed by the ceiling or something like that, I don't want to ruin my pleasure by looking for any solution on the net, I would succeed alone, eh? Maybe we'll see who has the last word, or at least the first 5 minutes are cool, but already frustrating, I know it's a hardcore gamer game, you have to hang in there, and take some painkillers, or smoke a big bastard, and it should go well, thanks friend see you soon.

You definitely do NOT need a multiplayer team in Dark Souls. I've beatin this game with no online connection about 8 times. These games are well known for being challenging especially when you first start your character. When you first come to the Asylum Demon at the beginning run past him to the left and go down. You should find a weapon and shield before you'll see him again later. Also I would not hesitate looking up stuff online when you need too. Knowledge is power in these games and I feel like it doesn't hurt the experience to do some researching for this series like it would for a more story focused game.

Hello thanks
How???? To the left? I don't see where.... Before you open the guard's door? Because I don't have a weapon, just a broken sword, no shield, and yes, thank you, I know well that they are known to be difficult games, that's what makes it so unique, but the cow I don't see the passage, there's a locked gate door that's all

EDIT
It's okay I found the shield and the sword, well we go around it, and we find ourselves above it, what's funny is that I looked at it for 3 seconds from my promontory to the high shelter, it jumped 5 meters high to me, and hit me with a club that killed me directly by dropping me down on the ground, game over, not even had time to give it a blow of my brand new sword
:rofl2:

Welcome to Dark Souls! I bet Ninty gets a rise in sales of joy cons. lol
Yeah, you're right.
I even think that by seeing the game over in red letter, will mark your screen lcd ips (So much so that it often happens)
, even if it should be impossible.
Are you playing it now?
Otherwise it's a good version anyway, nice in nomad mode

Haven’t played if for a few years but I did just get it for the switch today. Probably won’t play it until I finally get around to beating Bloodborne. To many games....

Okay, well, good luck to you, I don't know the difficulty of bloodborne, but I suspect it's not a relaxing ride.

Hint: Learning how to parry in the souls games will help you Tremendously.

Yes I want to believe you, but still you have to have time, or see it coming before it's too late, but I'm getting used to it little by little, just that the interface and buttons are not yet instinctive for me, and looked for which button pressed on this game, makes me lose time, and in this game the sanction is the game over
