Hacking 3D Printing Switch Case that Can Hold SSD HDD

That would be cool if someone designs a case that can hold a SSD or HDD at the back or inside the case. Now we have USB XCI loading I think it would make sense

What do you guys think?

I'm not familiar with those kinds of SSD sticks but yes.

use a usb to usb c adapter and a usb stick.....like i do it

Basically, you can find both SATA and NVMe SSDs in the M.2 form factor, and the former tend to be cheaper. The Switch really wouldn't benefit from having an NVMe drive plugged into its USB port.

It would be useful for people who are planning to pirate the entire library, but with newer and bigger MicroSD cards coming out, its unnecessary to say the least.

This is my current setup. Im using an ssd by the way, just because it uses less power than a mechanical HDD. YOu could use a USB stick too, i dont see why not. as long as you can get it to stick to the back of the case. i used my spare ssd because i dont plan on buying a 256gb or larger usb stick
im gonna get a sata usb adapter with a shorter cord to make it neater

What I mean is, NVMe essentially means higher speeds than SATA, which the Switch really wouldn't benefit from.

It's a good idea, but 4 portable I would want is like 1tb M-SD in the long future...

I would rather use a cheap fast USB pen drive for portable over a faster SSD that won't probably even do much for the Switch games in terms of speed...

And for home it's just better to buy like a 4tb external HDD for docked mode as Switch games aren't gonna need a super expensive fast SSD.

As much as I wanted an SSD in my PC 4 games I won't buy one so soon, I use a 128GB for window OS only because 1TB SSD are still super expensive .
