ROM Hack Dark souls remastered crashes when transferring save from pc

Can anyone help me figure out why the save will crash on the switch when trying to load the save they are the same save format. but the switch save is a little smaller

+1 I would also like to know of a way to edit the save file. even if it's just souls.

I will test again with the with the 1.02 and 1.03 updates on pc and check sizes

edit: The saves on pc were the same size with each update on pc.

I opened up my 1.02 Switch save in a hex editor, and it looks ...weird, compared to a PC version save, so that would probably be the reason for the crash.

I wouldn't know where to go in making them compatible from here, though.
