lets say I get banned. Can I replace my switch's cert for another one to bypass said ban?
If so, how?
If not, why?
Thanks

It should be doable if you have a cert from another switch that you won't be using online as only nintendo can create certificates and you'll get banned if two consoles go online with the same cert.

You may not be able to replace the cert when in OFW, only CFW. Which if nintendo can detect will cause your replacement cert to get banned too.

Nobody has documented out how to do it, because as you can see it's pretty pointless. If you have another switch then go online with that and don't hack it.

He probably wants to buy a second switch, replace the cert and return it.

Scum behavior if true

Ah it's useless then :/
Btw how do you know that Nintendo bans you if 2 consoles are connected with the same cert at the same time?

But then it would get banned too. This makes zero sense
I believe it is sarcasm.

Yes. Your cert consist of number. Let's say 1234. You just need to edit the cert by adding. Example 1235. If 1235 not work, just keep adding until it work.

Does ninty check for cert only or for cert and the console "data"?
That's quite an important thing.

Just checking for a cert would be pointless, it would be like asking to see someones photo id and not checking that the picture matches.

I think we can assume they do check, because they can.

Then you can't replase cert, unless you also emulated the info about your console.
