If someone could find some cheats for valkyria chronicels 4 - this would be awesome!
For the ingame currence like EP and Money this would be enough for the beginning. I could not find out how to find... If someone want a savestate to try - I can provide it.

Lets remember that this cheat engine is a beta realease , that's the reason for all the issues . Lets hope for an updated soon

So far this is what i have learned but does not seem helpful to move my codes to be shared since i am still using [heap+] codes.

Once I find the values i want to edit I created a text file that references the [heap+] address that is only usable for that play sessions take for instance my current play session for Dead Cells. I FTP'ed the file while playing to have the codes activated while I played:

[inf hp]
021F0000 1cdf1d68 000000ff
#notes of code breakdown#

#[021F0000]
Code Type 0: Write to memory, Width of write of 2 bytes, Memory type of (1) Heap+, Register to be added as offset = F

#[1cdf1d68]
Address relative to (this is the heap+0xAddress)

#[000000ff]
This is the HP value in hexadecimal that i want injected

Since the HP value of the current health state is near the max amount of health by just a few bytes away from 68 to 6c i was able to also change the write memory of those values.

[max hp]
021F0000 1cdf1d6C 000000ff

I know this isn't what people want to hear right now but it seems creating your own codes might be fastest way to have codes till maybe we get an application that either run on our PC's or if the cheat engine gets updated a bit more to make it easier to find the permanent codes.

a big thank you to @AnalogMan you actually taught me some stuff that motivated me to learn more about memory addressing. spent my day reading up on it. I still got some stuff to learn.

Wow this thread is WAY more productive than I thought it would be, given it's affiliation with TX, GBAtemp's official switch scene anti-christ. =O

I'd love to see some good debug menu finds, or BOTW ingame memory editing. The save editors have been pretty limited thus far. Just started playing around with it a bit myself. Will post my findings here shortly.

So what you're saying is there's a value of 0x9 at both MAIN+0x0252aa74 and also at MAIN+0x0252aa80 and you want to change the value of 0x9 to something else (what's the max?), did I get that right? Also, if you restart the Switch, are these values still in that location or do they move?

That's the address that I got from the cheat search. I don't know what 0x9 means.
I'll investigate further later.

I'm not sure whether this is the correct addresses. I did the search on 32 bit unsigned value.

Rather than requesting,.
I would like to know how to make my own cheat.

I did use the cheat searcher for Lego city.
I found the address
Main+0x0252aa74 0x9
Main+0x0252aa80 0x9

It's the address for the lego piece count.
I wanted to make the value to maximum.

How should I proceed from here onwards?

Do I need to define the master key?
Any tutorial that I can go to?

Many thanks.
@riveira if those [main+] addresses are correct your codes should look like this. the 0x9 is the value you currently have.

[lego piece count 9999]
040F0000 0252aa74 0000270f

or

[lego piece count 9999]
040F0000 0252aa80 0000270f

those 2 [main+] addresses are 2 separate addresses. if one of them is right my above codes should work.

Is this cheat tool powerful enough to find the Pointer adress? Since most games have DMA.
