What available custom theme creation programs are there currently? I want to try any possible alternative to Usagi I can get, because Usagi is... unsatisfactory.
Alternatively, if someone could tell me how it all works and fix my many issues, that would be appreciated too. Problems being super finnicky with resolutions that are completely arbitrary, the preview not working correctly, not being able to edit colors, some flags being unseectable for no reason, etc.
Thanks to anyone who can help.

I'm only aware of Usagi and Yata - and personally I only use the latter for converting wavs to bcstms and bcwavs as Usagi handles everything else pretty nicely.

It sounds like your issues are more to do with unfamiliarity with the theme formatting rather than deficiencies with Usagi.

How is it being finnicky with resolutions? There are two sizes of image file that are used by themes; 512 x 256 and 1024 x 256 pixels. Whatever you do these are the correct image dimensions to import into the theme creation tool.

No single type of theme will have every editing option available. This is normal and because of certain options being only applicable to the 'simple' theme style or the 'regular' style.

When I was getting to grips with theme creation what really helped me was reverse engineering a couple of themes. Download a theme, open it up in Usagi, export and examine the files, work out how it all fits together.

Thank, I guess I'll try reverse-engineering.
Though, I still find it hard to believe any 3DS screen is 1024x256 pixels.
EDIT: Everything graphical is in place, thanks for that help! Though, there doesnt seem to be any option anywhere to add BGM. Anyone know how to do this?
EDIT#2: Alright, everything is figured out due to outside helpers. Thanks to everyone who helped out for putting up with my silly antics(?)!
