Hi Everyone,

Some time ago I aksed advise for removing stripped screws (rails, switch). One of those advises was to use dremmel and remove screwhead and after that remove the screw with pliers/tweezers.
Well I removed the heads, but I cannot get grip on the screws with pliers because they are to short and I cannot put enough force with tweezers.

What can I do to resolve this?

Thanks in advance!

Engineering mind would say 1mm HSS drill bit straight through the middle. Then taper-tap it clear.

Or gently knock it round with a screwdriver blade and a hammer.

Don`t use heat as some people may recommend.

Thanks for response. Gently knock it around? How will this remove the screw?

Tap a groove into the top of the broken screw. Then just "chisel" it round...
