Someone please help me, my switch is stuck at the boot screen, recovery mode wont work. This happened after a nand restore. Help me.
You cant simply restore your old nand unless you upgraded without burning fuses. What is your fuse count?I restored my nand, which is a 3.0.2, i restored it from 5.1.0 (as i had the same issue, was working fine on 6.0.0 and 3.0.2). Payload? None, attempting to boot into OFW, also tried Hekate for CFW Atmosphere, and ReiNX payload for ReiNX, both same issue.
Your fuse count is correct so it should work with a nand restore of firmware 3.0.2. Did you try to do the restore again with hekate ? If it doesn't work then i suspect your nand backup to be corruptedFuse count is 4, 3.0.2 NAND backup restored. I can boot into Hekate, I didnt make a backup in 5.1.0 as i couldnt get into it when i updated with ChoiDujour
NAND was checked and it said it was fine, however i cant use a SD card as its not big enough so i used Hex Workshop, im petty f--ked aint I?Your fuse count is correct so it should work with a nand restore of firmware 3.0.2. is it formatted exfat ? Because only fat32 works on those lower firmwares.NAND was checked and it said it was fine, however i cant use a SD card as its not big enough so i used Hex Workshop, im petty f--ked aint I?
My SD is 32gb (only 28gb usable), and hekate supports exFat, im just trying to get into OFWis it formatted exfat ? Because only fat32 works on those lower firmwares.
Well you can always try with an fat32 card instead seeing that there aren't many options left , the only thing that you can do is do a nand restore again and if it still doesn't work then theres probably something wrong with the nand backupMy SD is 32gb (only 28gb usable), and hekate supports exFat, im just trying to get into OFW
Cant put a NAND backup on Fat32, and fat32 has been tried.Well you can always try with an fat32 card instead seeing that there aren't many options left , the only thing that you can do is do a nand restore again and if it still doesn't work then theres probably something wrong with the nand backup
how big is the nand backup ? Because if you used the 32gb card you got a partial nand backup and that is your problem right there since you have to use a 64gb card for a nand backup and restore. If you did use a 64gb card to do the backup then you're in luck otherwise ur fucked. If you did a partial dump on sd then you should also have another part by doing the dump a second time and you can use a joiner script to merge them together. If you did not do that and only have a partial dump well it's a perma brick thenCant put a NAND backup on Fat32, and fat32 has been tried.
well buy a 64gb card and do it with that. I'm pretty sure it will work that wayI used partial nand backup and put them together to make a 30gb nand file. I dont have a 64gb sd, and i saw posts saying Hex Workshop and HacDiskMount works through USB cable.
I might see if thats my only option, its strange tho, when i restored my NAND through the cable, it got rid of my blue/purple screen so i assumed it would've worked. Thanks for help i guess, if anyone else has ideas, please post them!well buy a 64gb card and do it with that. I'm pretty sure it will work that way
I did indeed. Still have that issue.Did you restore the rawnand AND boot0/boot1 of that firmware? Because if you just restored the rawnand, you didn't fully restore the NAND since boot0/boot1 are firmware specific
There is one more thing you can try and that is use ChoiDujour method again, if your backup nanad is no good then find xci with that firmware and flash again with firmware 3.0.2 dump from xci update.I might see if thats my only option, its strange tho, when i restored my NAND through the cable, it got rid of my blue/purple screen so i assumed it would've worked. Did you make a backup of boot0/boot1 after installing AutoRCM?I did indeed. Still have that issue.
