Hello,

I have a switch on 5.1 and am using SXOS with jig and dongle.
For some reason all of a sudden most of the time the switch will not turn on instantly when pressing the power button.
I need to hold the power button in for like 20 seconds it will then turn on.
Is there a way to fix this?

Thanks

If i set my switch back to factory settings will it still be on 5.1 or will it force an update to 6.0?
First, you probably don't have to revert to factory settings to fix your problem. Second, you do not need to update to 6.0.0 to factory reset your device.

How do you shut down your switch ?
Holding power for 20 secs is not a power on but a hard power off.
Meaning the console was on before you did that .
What are your sleep mode settings power saving settings in the settings menu ?

I would normally power down by holding in power and selecting shut down.
I read that it's frozen but every few restarts it happens
Just need a way to fix it please

First thing I want to check, is your sleep mode broken?
Try putting your Switch to sleep and then waking it up.
Are you able to?

Next thing I want to check is your AutoRCM status.
Can you turn on your Switch WITHOUT using a dongle?
Just turn it off, then try turning it on normally, no dongle allowed.

Please do the EXACT steps I stated and answer the TWO questions I asked.

#1 Are you able to wake your Switch from sleep mode? Can you try it RIGHT NOW?
#2 Can you turn off your Switch RIGHT NOW, then try to turn it on WITHOUT using a dongle. Do this RIGHT NOW after doing #1. Just try to turn it on (hold the power button or whatnot, just DON'T use a dongle)

If you must know the reasons for these tests, you seemingly were previously on 6.0 earlier as you posted here:

If this Switch is the same as the 5.1 you are talking about in this thread, then your sleep mode is most likely broken.

Just got home.
The switch was on 93% when i left home this morning. I turned it off. Just got home and without dongle pressed power. Straight on but is flat
