Gaming Cia failed to install!

Hi im new here so sorry if this isnt the right place to post this!

I just put pokemon mystery dungeon for the 3ds in my sd csrd and then i installed it through FBI.

Right when it was at 99% it stopped and gave me a error saying cia failed to instal. ( or something like that.. wish i made a picture. )

What could I do? This was the first time trying to install a game through FBI. I first did it with freeshop but today i discovered that its dead.

Someone please help!

Format your SD card using guiformat as FAT32 with 32kb cluster size and test it using H2testw.

Assuming your card is A-OK, make sure you have enough space on it to install the game and try with another .cia file.

If it doesn't work after all of this, make a pic of the error.

Try with another .cia of that game (don't ask me where to get it). If other games are being installed correctly...

@Goos, something looks really fishy about your SD card. FBI states the size as 122.8 GB.

Are you by any chance using a supposedly 128 GB micro SD?

Real 128 GB cards have actual usable capacity of approximately 119 to 120 GB, but never over that.

Seems like it's a bad/corrupted CIA or faulty/fake SD card(Try formatting it like NFates said above) You could try test in h2testw, i have 2 questions do you have a CFW and did you ever install any others CIAs or freeshop titles

P.S i can only find power disc slam usa online not eur

what cfw are you using, some cia can't be install in gateway emunand, need to get a different cia

My 3ds wont start without the boot file. The boot file has FBI in it. I get a cia file of a game and download it it in FBI

Weird that error means it can't open the CIA file, i looked up some errors and might be something with your Nintendo 3DS folder on your SDCard

Why do some games work and some dont.. plus i factory resetted my 3ds. Didnt do anything with my 3ds folder

factory resetting will create a new 3ds folder which will render all saves and gaves ya got useless if ya didnt backup the saves before hand.

Okay im trying it again. It says it will take up to 5 and a half hours! Why is this worth it?
