I know it's a lot to ask, but can you port this to one of the free titles on the eshop?
There's a few candidates from what I can see.

If this is not possible, can someone point me towards resources for learning about finding exploits on the wii u?

not sure about a thread with that information, but the game must be legit. non-legit games without sig patches will not boot. also, I think haxchi itself is an exploit of the ds emulator rather than the games. buy brain age if you can. :)

It has to be a DS game since it exploit a weakness in the DS emulator. I also has to be an original game since it's launched as if it was a DS game.

It would be a legit game, just a free one. (there's a few on the store)
I know it's asking a lot to find an exploit in another piece of software, but I'm just wondering why none of the free games have hacks found for them. Is it because nintendo would just take them off the store because they aren't making any money from them anyway?

You can't just choose for a piece of software to have something exploitable in it. As mentioned for Haxchi it isn't the games themselves that are exploitable, its the DS emulator the Wii U uses to load them.

Can i only boot with the gamepad into cfw?? With the Pro or the Wiimote nothings happens. Only the Homebrew Channel opens if i Hold B and press A.

If it's only regular haxchi (not CBHC) you could edit the .xml file of the haxchi game so it could be started without the gamepad. I think there is some guide if you search the forums

After doing quite a lot of work I now think it is time to release this - Version 2.0 of Haxchi!
If you happen to have a DS VC title that is listed in this file then go ahead and grab the current Haxchi .zip file, make sure to NOT click on "source code" instead of the current .zip:
https://github.com/FIX94/haxchi/releases
Please note that you have to be on 5.5.1/5.5.2 for this to work.
Just extract the contents of it onto your sd card. The "haxchi" folder right now just consists of a simple replacement icon, logo and replacing the game title with "Haxchi".
Its example config.txt will boot homebrew launcher by default, a fw.img on your sd card when holding A and holding B will send you back into the system menu which will get full signature and region patching and support this ftpiiu-everywhere version; Haxchi comes with its own sysnand CFW included.
For a full list of all compatible buttons that you can use for the config.txt go here.
The content of this haxchi folder can be changed to your liking - if you want to you can also add in an alternative bootSound.btsnd to replace the original startup sound which I did not do in this example haxchi folder.
After setting up the content to your liking all you have to do is run the Haxchi Installer in homebrew launcher, select the game you want to install it on and that is it! If you ever want to make changes to the content folder it installed to then just re-run the Haxchi Installer and install it again, you dont have to reinstall the game beforehand, it'll just overwrite the previous haxchi installation with your new data.
Please note, this will ONLY WORK WITH DS VC GAMES ON NAND, if you have a ds vc game on USB you want to use then please move it to your NAND first and ideally detach your usb device before using this installer .elf, if you dont remove your usb devices it may freeze up on exiting or not install properly.
This also ONLY LOADS THE .ELF VERSION OF THE HOMBEBREW LAUNCHER which as of right now is v1.4 so make sure to keep that on your sd card or you will just get error -5 when starting your haxchi channel. Once you are in the homebrew launcher it is also perfectly compatible with loading .rpx files, you just cant use haxchi itself to load .rpx files.

Let me know if everything works fine since there is only so much I can test myself.
Can i config on config.txt

nnu patcher. it's unlikely you'll ever be able to use haxchi without buying a ds game, because installing the game through wup will result in a fake ticket. you need sig patches to use fake tickets, which is what you're booting haxchi for.

im guessing i also have to remove those DNS used to block nintendo right

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Do you mean you held off installing Haxchi for years, hoping for an alternate free way to install it? Oh man! As was mentioned, https://wiiubru.com/appstore/#/app/nnupatcher
lol yeah only reason why im thinking about it now is because i just found out i cant play vc games with Rednand ....

can't remember. I was using cc proxy to block updates instead of dns. with that, though, I don't think you could sign in to the eshop without disabling it. I'm thinking the dns will work without it being disabled though. I'd say just try it without disabling the dns.

edit: oh, yeah, now I remember. some of the urls you block are related to the eshop. I think it tries to connect for a while, but then you get an error.
